Morning LL--Got home late last nite.

Geez, she is doing it again--shot a sk 0.75 and she dropped already to 77 at +3--Seems she will just not eat, so I food syringed her a tiny bit of 14% hc..
Tried 3 more different flavors of different foods--I'm Going Mad!!!!!
Trying to keep her up in nice greens...It's like a hurricane here!--Going to a tree trimming party this afternoon-with my cold & all--Not till her +7!
It's all good!
If this dose is still bringing her down much, I was advised to shave our current dose, or possibly go to fat 0.50--

Oh for Gosh Sakes!!! Here we go again!!! On a shaved dose!!!--Saw she ate a bit of lc, but certainly not enough to bring her up--
And Naturally I have to leave in a few hours!!-Making my Broccoli pie recipe that everyone got :oops: --so good!

I just food syringed her with 18% ff sliced turkey in gravy--Hope it helps, I'd rather not use the tempataions, but with her, it doesnt seem to matter!!
Yesterday, she had about 14 temptations & never even bounced!--
Could her Mr. pancreas be sputtering?? After all these yrs??
Back at +5...

Wow...Moonie has really been rockin' this dose! She, Gracie, and Tess are in a diving competition today.

Ok So I broke out the temptations!! Knowing Moonie as I do, she will probably like me syringing food into her--Less work for Moonie & food delivered right into her mouth!! She LOVES to be waited on--I am her Staff!! --Soooooo I fed her several Temptations..which she was very happy to eat--.
I'm going to wait a few days with the dose which I did shave today & see what happens--She's coming up--Want her to be safe when I go out!--

two points on temptations, what cha get, the LC ones??? If you did, then tell which ones, cuz I know Spot would love to try them :lol: You are doing a great job on handling Moonie's low numbers, Roni. I know you have to be so happy to see them....well, maybe not the low low numbers, but that 77 sure is sweet!
I hope that Moonie goes up just a tad for you and then surfs those greens!

Hey--Very little eating by Moonie that it's getting harder & harder to find anything she will eat!
I printed out the cat food lists & will hit the cat food store tomorrow--
Not eating much even with the chicken dust on it--went through all the flavors I have here FF, friskies, & whiskas-lc & other..
She is driving me insane!--She had 2 40's numbers in 2 cycles & a 37--
Shot a Half Hour Late tonite--Think I shot a fat 0.5 tonite--as I cant tell a sk 0.75 from a fat 0.5!!!
I forgot from long ago!!
Looking for the photos of the microdoses--Hope tonite is mellow, I'm almost out of MC & Hc foods--It's crazy here! :roll:

Hi Roni, Try Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner (12%) or Grammy's Pot Pie (8%). Stu always ate these even when he was sick and wouldn't eat other foods. Michelle says that Mannie loves Merrick Surf 'n Turf (3%).

Hey Moonie, A gal has to eat to keep up her strength! EAT SOMETHING!!!

She is just Not eating & she has dropped already at +2--Just tried to feed her elegant medleys that she has always liked, she ate a tiny bit, maybe tsp--then stopped eating!-
Syringe fed her some of the gravy from it & some gravy from FF sliced chicken feast!
This is really starting to scare me!! Her inappetance is frightning..She started to eat & stopped..She was eating fine last week..I think the whole 0.25U reductions seems to be in order here,NO?

Would like to get her back to safety!--Any ideas?
Ella I will try the Merrick Thanksgiving day & the other food--I always worry that she is getting good numbers because she is not well! Need Help!

It is scary when they won't eat! With the way she has been not eating, I would go with the full 0.25u dose reduction for safety's sake. If she starts eating better, and the numbers go up, you can always go back up to the last good dose, right?

Can you use a little karo in her food? Just give her a tiny bit of food, and mix the karo in, maybe that will work.

Sorry that Moonie isn't eating so well Roni....I hope that will pass. Do you have any fortiflora in the house?
Sometimes if you sprinkle some on the food, they eat.
I hope you can bring her numbers up so that she will surf a little for you instead of dropping.....

Just gave her 2 food syringes mc & hc & 2 drops karo..

Agree with Miriam. If she's up a bit at the next test, mix some karo with the gravy and syringe it in her if you have to.

Shot some hc gravy & small amount of Karo--She ate a few temptations too--Krack city!!

Roni you only need to feed small amounts at a time so if she only eats a tsp of HC food mostly gravy that is ok....you don't want her to get too full so early in the cycle.

Do you have any ice cream (not chocolate) in the house. In a pinch, something truly forbidden might be permissible. How about a donut? (Just kidding.) If Moonie eats "people" food, add a bit of Karo to that.

Gave her only 4 food syringes of gravy & one with a bit of karo--Just tried 4 little temptations & she ate that-
Just trying to see if she will actually eat anything!
Believe me she has hardly eaten anything today all day. This happened this am too. ohmygod_smile

Roni where were you looking? I was at the mall. :lol:

I would stay away from that "kitty crack." It will not bring her up very fast and it will stay in her system too long. I know you use it as a last resort but it won't help short term.

All of a sudden Moonie decides to get with the program!!
I just wasnt ready for it!! You know you get comfy in some numbers and a little green a day is just fine!
Then BOOM drops like a rock! It's just surprising--Guess the Old Girl REALLY WANTS A REDUCTION!!

Hey Roni, Sometimes they just don't feel like eating. Sienne's suggestion of a little vanilla ice cream is a good one. Stu couldn't resist ice cream, and maybe Moonie can't either. Has she ever had it? Otherwise, just continue with the Karo and the gravy (small amounts). Don't forget that Karo is a quick fix and leaves the system pretty quickly also, so you have to remain vigilant. How is Moonie behaving otherwise?
Anyway, sending EAT MORE FOOD vines. Good to take a dose reduction tomorrow. She may simply have decided to get your attention because she wanted less insulin.
I'm so sorry that you have to have this problem when you are not feeling well. (Maybe Moonie caught your cold?)

She has been sleeping a lot, but she always does, otherwise, just normal Moonie.

wow Roni - gravy, karo, small amts, you know the drill. ice cream is good - mine can never resist it either. Be vigilant tonight - she could drop again. Mannie, the king of eats, sends eating vines....

wow - i take a hour or two break, and look what Moonie does. I think she is done with this dose.

Roni - how big of an issue has Moonie not eating been? Is this typical with lower numbers or is this something new? Is she typically a picky eater? When was Moonie's last check-up? I'm thinking that if she's been off her food, it may be worth a vet visit. Of course, she may be trying to torture you!

I'm so glad you got her up. I was scrolling through your condo and getting scared :shock: I'm so glad you syringed some food and karo into her. And I'm even gladder that she is an hour past that 32. Sheesh!!!! I could feel your vibes!!! Hoping she will stay up for you now but like Michelle said, watch her for turning on you...Gracie has done that to me, too, even two hours past her nadir. :twisted: :twisted:

Actually the not eating is somewhat new, but she has been having some low numbers & she never ate well when she had a lot of green!
Yes I would say the not eating so much is new-everything else is normal--they both havent been eating a whole lot..
Maybe they are tired of FF--If this continues, I will surely take her--She is going 1st week of Jan for her senior check up anyway.
Civvie has had lots of hair balls & she had a few--made that noise tonite.-If she was congested I would know it right?

Don't forget to breath and you can eat the choc. ice cream yourself. :lol: Let Moonie do the whipped cream. I hope she comes up for you so you can get some sleep. You know you are in control with the HC and the Karo......

Josie is a picky eater - she loves the Evo Chicken /Turkey - course Tuscany the non picky eater wouldn't touch it - go figure. Good luck!!

Roni...I'm so sorry you are dealing with this when you feel bad and are tired. It's bad enough if you are semi rested. When you try the Merrick, the other one that Gracie likes besides the ones mentioned before is Cowboy Cookout...5%. Healing vines.

Finally +5.5~64!!!! I am leaving out hc & mc--I have to sleep--If she drops she better eat on her own..She ate about 10 minutes after I tested last..
I used everything in the arsenal--Karo, HC MC,LC, Temptations, should have done some honey which I have right in kitchen--
She got it all--Finally she ate--& civvie ate what she left--Thanks to you all for your help!-As Usual..Hugs from US!!

You're probably in bed but YAY!!!!! I'm glad you got her up. Looks like both these girls are taking an arsenal.
