Busy morning here already - problems at work - another one of those things I really can't do a thing about - hate those!

Luci is going to get an x-ray of her foot this morning to see if the cast can be removed! Fingers and paws crossed!

Here's a pic my DH took yesterday of a fellow on the golf course - thought you might find this one interesting! These guys are all over the place - not just out in the glades! Always a surprise to see!

Good luck at the vet Luci, I hope your little paw is all better and you come home with no cast. :bighug:
Yikes on the big lizard!! :nailbiting: We used to see black bears on the golf courses in Vancouver but they're easier to scare away! ;)

I hope Luci gets that cast off today. She's showed a lot of progress. That video of her running cracked me up!!!

Luci is home from her vetty visit.:cat: Another x-ray revealed that her foot hasn't healed up all the way - yet! And now we're scheduled for Jan 6 for the NEXT x-ray and hopefully cast removal and pre-dental labs.:banghead:

Don't even ask how much it's costing to get this cast/foot checked every whip stitch!!!:arghh::arghh::arghh:

Luci comes home from the vet very happy though...they must be giving her 'happy gas' - she's deep into the lagoon!!!:D:D:D Surprise!!:eek:
 
Oh Sue, I'm sorry Luci's X-ray didn't show better results! But at least it's not bothering her much; she certainly seems to be getting around ok.

Boo! However, I'll take solace in knowing she's perking up and starting to feel better. It's definitely a good sign, although I do hope she keeps herself safe and doesn't make it worse. What a rascal, but I'm going to start sending vines now that the January 6th check will be the winner! Maybe we can pile enough on to get that healing going!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Ahhh poor Lucy another 4 weeks, at least she is feeling chipper about it all! Did she get a new red or green Christmas Cast?!

Wowser, that's a big pond dweller....do they remove them? We recently spent some time in far north Queensland and I was so scared of the crocs... cant imagine living in close proximity.

Only if they attack a pet or a person...so not really so much. This one was next to a golf course - he didn't seem to mind the golfers one bit! :)

She didn't appear to get any Christmas Cheer on her cast at all...mama may have to add a little something :)
 
Golfers only mind them when they eat their golf balls :p They need to take one stroke on that lol. Sending special Christmas cheer for Luci's cast....hope she switches up the cast for flip flops soon.
 
Yikes. I didn't realize alligators were out and about like that.

Sorry about Luci's x-ray.:( At least she's getting around well and looks so much more comfortable now.

I hate that she isn’t healed, crossing fingers for Jan 6th!
