Gracie's Yesterday

Yesterday was a very sad day for the FDMB at the passing of Emmy (GA Dude's mama). She was a friend to all and a great emotional supporter of those in need whether the need was just a supportive thought or deeper condolences over a tragic life event. She will be sorely missed but she is now reunited with her Dude and, as Sienne put it, with our beloved Barbara Benner and all our GAs who are being spoiled rotten by these two amazing women.
We also hope all our West Coast friends are safe and dry from those storms yesterday.
Well it seems LBG can manage to express to Lupita her disdain regardless of the position she is in. :lol: :lol: This morning as I sat in the office working on the computer with Gracie at my feet on her back with her super duper softest tummy in the world (since she is the softest cat in the universe) pointed upwards, Lupita just casually walked by the office. From an upside down little mouth...hissssssssssss....dis' my mommy time, Pita!!! Shoo! Shoo!! Then LBG looked at me for approval (of course, I was trying so hard to not laugh out loud and spoil the moment) and then she looked back at Lupita and just for good measure hissssssssssssss!!!!!!!!. Her body position never changed....just the focus of her eyes at Lupita, then me, then Lupita. Lupita said, "what did I do, little Princess?" You just THERE, Pita. You just THERE! :lol: :lol: :lol:
Note to Mikey: please keep your bouncing toy balls at home. Gracie does not need any help. And while we would love to have you come visit, we don't need another Kinross cat detesting Lupita :lol: :lol: :lol: And no, Mary, Tobey cannot bring Lupita to RI :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Per Carl's request, tomorrow starts the first day of Gracie's 12 days of Catmus. Just warning those of you who have already been exposed to this in previous years because there are a few classics I must reprise (sorry about that). For any new members, it's a fun thing for us and a way to bring a little daily laughter to the hustle and bustle of Christmas and the stress of FD. Please join us!
Off to Costco and running a few errands before I start the Christmas cards. We will batten down the hatches for the CA rains although it's not supposed to dump as much here. Have a great day.
