I was hoping Furball wasn't going to bounce from the blue last night. She was happy & purry this morning. Hopefully she'll slide down to some blue for me.

I decided to just use the Confirm meter right now. I really don't like the Prime, but think I will not be able to return it to Wal-Mart since it is blood related. If that is the case, I may use it at some point just to use up the strips I bought and not waste all of my money. Of course if I think this will cause Furball a problem, I won't use it. I will probably buy a 2nd Confirm meter to use as my backup.

Morning guys sorry about the bounce, hope it clears quick and you see some more blue today! I couldn't hurt to try and return the meter to Walmart, you never know? I like the relion confirm myself and have 2. Hope your day goes well!

I'll cross my fingers that you can return the prime but i'll bet your right about not being able to return blood related items. Good luck tho.

Sorry for the bounce, at least it's not too bad. I hope Furball will return to the blues today.

Good luck with the meter - I hope they will take it back. Might be worth the try. Maybe?

Hi Carla, I hope Furball clears his bounce soon. I use the ReLion Micro and don't have any complaints about it.

Hi Carla, paws and fingers crossed for Furball to flash a nice blue on your return home. One thought on the Prime meter would be to call Arkay and state how dissatisfied you are with it. Someone else here mentioned a call they had with Arkay and the person answering the phone saying they had software problems with the Prime. Maybe they would refund your money. You could ask for a coupon to buy the Confirm. It's also worth a try with Walmart, especially since you'll be buying the Confirm.

Hey Carla, sorry about the bounce. Furball is up there playing with Scratchie! Hope she comes down for you!!

You're right, you won't be able to return the glucometer. Any blood related items cannot be returned, you're just out the money. I tried that at Wal-Mart with a 'bad' meter that I had just purchased. They still wouldn't take it back!

More bouncing from Furball this evening. She was in a very loving mood.

I had to run to Wal-Mart to get some cat food and picked up the Prime to see if I could return it. I noticed the box states it can't be returned to Wal-Mart. You are supposed to call them for a return. I will call and ask, but I'll probably be out the money.
 
Hi Carla, I think Furball just thinks she looks so pretty in pink. :-D

WalMart is good about returns....I'd try calling the number on the meter, and see if they will send a coupon for a different kind, like Ann said. Can't hurt to try. Especially since they know there's a software problem with it.
