Zener is doing fine this morning. He did not use a piddle pad last night and did his business outside this morning. I can't remember that happening since his diagnosis. His appetite was ok this morning, just not the same gusto of the last couple of days. He's on clindamycin in preparation for his dental on Tuesday so maybe that is having an effect. He's btb with Anne so I'm going to have to disturb him for the +1. We've been talking to Mr. Liver and asking him to not be such a drama queen. :smile: Thinking of Tom, Garland, Tawny, Jill and DH, and others who are ailing. Happy Sunday LL!

I've already bought him a whole LIBRARY! My mother and I made him a cloth book with pictures of family and their names underneath. I read to my children from the time they were born - THEY, in turn, have read to THEIR children since birth. We pass forward kids books to the next child in line. If I can't find anything else to read, I read the back of cereal boxes.... :lol: My bathroom reading is a dictionary....DH says I'm VERY wierd. I probably am.... :?

funny condo from lyresa! i read everything too - down to the wrappers of the toilet paper. don't turn me over to The People please!

you asked about celi's pictures - i use google images. go to the google page and then on the top left is an option for images. click there, then when you're using the search box - say for funny cats - it'll only turn up pictures. you have to click through all the preliminary stuff until you only have the image, then copy the URL and post it using the Img button.

This is Zener's 3rd nice cycle in a row (anti-jinx). He hasn't done that very much, about once a month. We keep telling Mr. Liver to stay calm, everything is fine. Must be working.

Linda: Thanks for the good wishes. We are nervous about the dental but seeing how well Gabby is doing after hers has given us courage.

Lyresa: 5 generations? Wow! What a great book with all the family pictures. That's a real treasure. Hope he doesn't drool on it too much. :lol: :lol: We are total reading addicts, too. I can't hardly stand to sit still without reading. That iPad is handy for reading condos instead of toilet paper wrappers. :lol: :lol:

Zener is snoozing on the bed and eating very well again this am, for which we are grateful! While doing my morning backyard rounds filling up bird feeders and putting peanuts out for our stellar jays, I found a small pudding poo where Zener does his big business. We usually use the fortiflora to stimulate his appetite when he isn't interested in eating, but will start adding a sprinkle to each mini meal while on the ABs.

Zener came in from his picnic and doing his business outside and had puddingpoo all over one paw and his whole rear belly was kind of damp. Poor guy. That must be from the clindamycin. Then the indignity of having his beans clean his business! We got a few growls for that. Mr. Z has had 3 good consecutive cycles, which he does about once a month. Is this the start of a bounce or the start of #4? Stay tooned!

@Michelle - we did love those numbers, thanks for your kind words about managing his foods. We had briefly hoped that perhaps Zener was getting the hang it, and up popped Mr Liver. :roll:

@Ella - yes, it is a little easier to deal with since we know what is causing his pudding poo. We are adding fortiflora to each meal to see if helps. Poor guy was so unhappy to be messy. :sad:

We'll get another test in a bit to see if we've hit the high point of the bounce or if Zener will "run the rainbow" today. Looks like beans will get some sleep tonight. :YMSIGH:

What a great day for Zener! Looks like there won't be any dramatic drop tonight so definitely get some sleep. Sorry he is having a little poo problem and I'm sure he is not happy about the butt washing! How embarassing!
