Hi,

I just tested Yoshi for keytones using the pee strips and the reading seems moderate. He’s eating and I’m putting tons of water in his food. He’s playing etc. Should I just keep testing and trying to flush them out with water?

My vet hates us and I can’t afford the ER unless he gets worse

I just threw the test strip away and it was beyond the 15 seconds for the reading

When I look at the strip under an artificial light, it looks pinker. If I go by the window during the day, the same strip will look negative. I got scared many times! Do you have a ketones meter?

With these better numbers, it would be odd that he has ketones developing at the same time... Are you planning on an increase tonight?

I don’t think the pic of the bottle will upload. It’s taking forever. I’m going to watch him closely and inundate his food with water and test when he pees next

He has better numbers but I think he’s bouncing a bit today
