Morning everybody. Happy Caturday. Well as I predicted after a lovely 77 PMPS and nightly dose of Pred Tori bounced up to 270 by +2. She's working her way down though so hopefully will see some green again today.

This afternoon we go to see Doug and get her blood drawn and hopefully she'll get her chemo (the CCNU). This is when I get a bit nervous, hoping that her labs are OK and that no lumps and bumps are felt anywhere. Hopefully she's gained a bit of weight too. So if you have a chance say a prayer for my baby. She is quite the girl.

WCR- She ate a real good breakfast and is now cuddling with Socrates by the heating vent trying to keep warm. It 's snowing again. Makes for too much shoveling.

Have a good day everybody. I'm going to finish my brekki and then hit the bed for a few hours before our appointment. Will check in later.

Barb....I'm sending extra thoughts and prayers AND healing vines for Tori today for her chemo. I missed your condo the other day after Daniel's appt but I hope it went well. I also hope you get some rest. I don't know how you deal with all this...you are a superwoman! (((Barb)))....just in case you need any today. DO GOOD TORI you little miracle girl!!

Tori you are always in our thoughts. You are one amazing girl. Mannie and I will think of you today, and send so many healing vines so that you do well, and feel great when you come home. Have a good day today Tori!

Wow on the snow - I read of snow and winter weather in so many condos... I would like it if we got that here - doesn't happen often enough for me... Love it! I hope it doesn't make for issues for you in getting about.

Hey Tori! I know you have some serious vetty stuff today... But I still hope that you can come to the OTJ party for Skipper. I could pick you up, and take care of you, ya know... make sure you have a place you could rest, but still be there. Would that be OK? We have so many good fuds, and Moonie and Rusty are singing, and well - tons of fun! We have special niptinis too! I hope you can come. ~~ Mannie

I'm sending prayers and vines for good bloodwork and successful chemo. I'm glad Tori is eating well - she seems to be feeling good. Have a great Caturday!

Hi everybody. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. Things went pretty well at the vets today. They had a bit of difficulty getting her blood -she has tiny little veins. Her CBC was good though so she had the chemo. The pill went down well but she sure didn't like the water chaser. Not surprising. The one thing Tori hates for me to do with her is to give her anything by syringe. It makes it really hard when she's sick. Her weight has gone up 1/4 of a pound. That is the first time she has gone up a bit in about 6 months so even though it isn't much we are happy with that.

As for the neck nodes he thought he felt the tiniest bump on the right side. I was a bit disappointed to hear that. Last week when she was boarding there and he checked her he couldn't feel anything at all. I so wanted to hear the "R" word but I guess I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. Patience is a virtue which I still have a lot of learning to do about. Every where else felt good. Her heart is strong.

I asked one of the receptionists how the other two kitties with lymphoma were doing. One had gone to Calgary for radiation and the other, the 6 month old got chemo along side Tori some weeks. Unfortunately they have both passed on. So sad especially the little one. Fly free sweet kitties that I felt I knew but never met.

You know I am so blessed. My girl is still here and doing well. What more could I ask for?

Tori has headed off to the OTJ party for Skipper. Mannie please make sure she behaves and gets home OK.

Ni Barb - I am so glad to read that things went well for Tori. Such good news. and yes on the patience - that is the part I know I wouldn't do to well with. You do so well with her. I am saddened though to read about the loss of Tori's chemo mates. very sad.

Mannie assures me that he will watch over Tori and makes sure she has a good time, lots of fuds, and gets home safely. He says he will drive safely, and make sure she gets inside her home.

Nice report for Tori. Sorry the other ones have gone on. We can only try and hope. Have a good day. Keeping your son in my prayers.
 
Well all things considered seeing she was a bit stressed today this PMPS isn't bad at all. Tonight we'll both be able to get a good rest. Funny I just came to the conclusion that I haven't eaten since my break last night at work. No wonder I'm getting hungry. Not that I couldn't live off my blubber for quite a while. So I'm off to fix myself something.
