Good morning on this brrrrr...Sunday. this week, like so many others recently, has sped by quickly yet at same time has felt so much the opposite.

Sootie's am 83 :D, she was perky and we were each so happy to welcome the other in our morning routine of my plodding up the stairs with breffis for the upstairs team Sootie and Azalea, Sootie cheering me on from the top landing. Her appy is off a little but she has trained me to follow her, fud dish in-hand, into her privacy realm choice of the moment. Love is love!!❤️

I am sooo unready for the jule...and haven't even started the Danish Christmas cookies, time and often elbow grease intensive labors of love. Brunekager, judekager, vanijlekranser, and kyskage (little meringue 'kisses') my mother, grandmother and I did every year and I've continued to do since. Maybe this year it'll just be little kisses!!!!

Appy vines for Sootie...hopefully it's just a little blip like we all have from time to time!

I hear ya on not being ready...got lots of cookie baking to do here, too (Italian here...also labors of love!)!!
 
i love when the morning routine is the way its always been... makes for a good start to the day... i hope your appy approves Sootie... have a great relaxing sunday :bighug:
 
Sootie's pmbg 82...grateful absolutely but also...Why do I feel like this is all a dream???

When came home from work there was Sootie at stairs to greet, sweet sweet Sootie ❤️️❤️️

Appy good tonight...is 'with it' vs tentatively "should I? Ok I'll try a little...give be some room, Bella and Dancer..." I added a bit of wellness turkey pate to the a/d. Oh (sigh) I'd so like to wean from the a/d and canned and get back to homemade but I don't dare rock the boat right now. Continuing to add /reintroduce probiotic and other supports a bit at a time.

DH just home and in with Azalea and her supper. She definitely perks up and settles in with bearded bean to head butt with and cuddle on for company. Sweet.
Tomorrow following up contacting Angell about second/oops now third opinion about azalea's eye (and second opinion) about mouth.

Tomorrow's my turn, along with many, in the meds scramble. for sootie; get cerenia refill, see about changing omeprazole to pill form, whether to continue or stop the a/b and home fluids; ask again about whether Sootie would benefit from combo of cerenia and ondansetron. Debating about whether to ask gi specialist about bupe for periodic pain if that makes sense...

Hugs vines and happy appy, prayers for all kitties keep their food down and gentle night and sweet dreams for all in LL. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good luck with the vet opinions and with the meds marathon! Continuing to send vines for Azalea and Sootie.
Your Christmas cookies sound wonderful. I have to get busy on mine this week (somewhat more eclectic selection than yours!).
