Good morning all,
Don't know if you do this once in a while, but total disconnect is quite enjoyable some time.
It had been a long time for me. As a bounce was in progress yesterday it was a perfect
day for this. A friend of mine I introduced to photography a few years ago had called me
last week-end asking if I was interested in going out shooting. Called him yesterday and
proposed to try something else. There is a ''shooting range'' nearby, a company who
stated target shooting with pellet guns in different setup. Called them to see what the
setup was and was told to go on their web site... Their thing was 30$ AN HOUR !!!!!
They had lost my business, 30$ an hour for shooting paper targets...
Found something WAY cheaper and way more interesting to replace their thing.
I still have my childhood pullet gun, one that has plenty of destruction of any sort
under the hood (lots of frogs
). So we went to a hardware store and bought ammos
for the old gun and headed to an industrial area where I knew there was plenty of
deserted places with weapon and plenty of targets. Even after many years touching
a gun I didn't lost the hand, making a cat food can flip at 150 feet was no problem
.
My buddy was not bad either. Was kind of fun and costed almost nothing.
Was fun until a truck came by... with side window rolling down...

Grabbed the gun out of my friend's hands and put it down on the ground putting
our bags and stuff on it.
It was the owner of field, storage place for retired
trailers and other machinery. Was praying God he wouldn’t ask what we were doing
here... (right by the side of his truck was cans with bullet holes onto them but barely
out of sight). As fraternisation didn't work as a diversion I told the guy we were
out of here and that we were not there to make any damage to anything. ''It doesn’t
mater, this is private field''. We grabbed our stuff including the pullet gun hidden
in a wear coveralls over had the good idea of bringing for hiding the incriminating
piece of evidence and we ran out like kids being caught doing something wrong.
We'll be careful in choosing our spot next time as I still have plenty of ammos.
As for Small Kitty he must still be adjusting his system to the new dose, not
that good but he might turn up yellow by pmps.
Good day to all of you, if you do something wrong be careful not
being caught
.
