Good Morning Everyone,
It's a cold morning here: 11 degrees, clear skies. Rusty stuck his nose out the door, ventured a few steps, saw that there was no activity at the bird feeder, and decided to come back inside. He is now chillaxin' on the marble slab on top of the radiator. The deer family just walked by the window on their way to the woods. They looked cold! I think we will have to put up the door quilts today. They cut the size of our house in half, but since we don't use the porches in winter, it really helps to close them off. (In the old days, when our house was a tuberculosis "cure cottage", the 4 patients who lived here were expected to spend hours and hours sitting on their porches, winter, spring, summer and fall, breathing the mountain air.)
Rusty has cleared his "mini bounce" and is starting off very green, so we will keep a close eye on him today. I mixed a little FF T&G into his breakfast Wellness turkey. He also had a 3 A.M. (+8.5) 1-teasp. snack of FF T&G in his automat last night. That's 2 nights in a row I have put this little snack out (usually I just trust him to save some of his bedtime food). I think that he now expects it!
Edward is baking bread. Later this morning we will go for a walk. This afternoon I have to do some grocery shopping, and then I have to get started on my Xmas cookies (just looked at the calendar and Xmas is in TWO WEEKS! Yikes!!)
Sending healing vines and good thoughts for much improvement today to Garland, Tawny, and Tom. And to all kitties and beans not feeling their best.
