AMPS 247 <--- :cool: Didn't go through the rafters in a bounce - good boy!

Good morning - looking forward to yet ANOTHER 10-hour Mannie special! Well, perhaps I'll start with a nice espresso of some sort, the flavor of the day.

Leo cleared his travel bounce in RECORD TIME! He cannon-balled from the rafters right into a dose decrease! 453--->43 He's apparently adores his buddy Zener :-) I didn't wait for 2 non-food influenced rising numbers. He was holding his own and I figured on his way to the bounce, so I jacked him up. Too darned tired.

After a dose decrease Leo's shed dumps and he sometimes wants to earn another reduction right away, but the reductions don't hold. So I am starting this fat-skinny thing. I want to start by just splitting the dose in half, so I went from 1.75u ---> 1.63u rather than all the way to 1.5u. I know he may tank again, especially since his AMPS was a lovely yellow! THAT is unusual that he didn't bounce through the rafters again. Always a surprise.

ah Leo.... dude! what is up with that 407.... seriously? back down you go, 'K? Just no diving....

I am also on the shave aspect of dosing too. Mannie holds them better - though there are exceptions to that when one looks at his SS, but for the norm: shaves. they see to work best for him. so hear you on the "jacking them up" There are times when that is just the way it has to be. Well managed last night. :-D The amps was great this morning, sorry or that +1. Let's hope that is as high as he goes. Right Leo? :-D

:roll: You spoke too soon! Good luck w/ shaving the dose, that's what we do w/ Tess too. It keeps things a lot more even.

Hi Lisa, wow on Leo's deep dive yesterday and keeping him up! I can imagine you really needed that special "10 Hour Coffee" from Mannie! Good luck on the shave and hope no more dramarama today from Leo. Take care and hope you can sleep tonight.
 
Hi Helen - yes, he needs to work it hard! I got fooled by that pretty yellow!

Hi Michelle - yeah, he surprised me all right! Rotten cat, just when I thought he might be getting used to things. HA! I was looking at Mannie's sheet among others and the shaves seems to work, so that's what I'll try. I don't know exactly what people mean by fat and skinny, but as long as we are consistent. I'm guessing just splitting 0.25 units into halves or thirds. Jacking ... I NEVER would have done that in the beginning! But now that I know him more I felt more comfortable, although I did get up for more testing in the night.

Mannie - You are the bestest! It was so YUMS! and helped me pry my tired eyeballs open. Love you guy!

I hope Leo comes back down from the bounce for you soon. At least you should be able to get some sleep tonight.
