Yesterday- Infection slowly getting better

Last night her PMPS 202

AMPS 131

So she's finally getting back down into the numbers I was used to seeing for the last month. I guess the neck infection was causing all those random higher numbers last week

She's doing better. She's walking around a lot more and meowing again. Still not eating as much as I would like, but the Dr did say, it would be slow improvements the first 3 days.

Should I still be giving the odansetron every 8 hours?

Great news and great numbers.

I think there's a take away message here. Garland's numbers and ketones will tell you if there's a health issue going on. It sounds like you need to yell at the vet to get them to listen -- at least in this case.

When you talk to the ER vets next, I'd really encourage you to see if they can give you the names of a couple of vets in your area. You may also want to post on Health asking people for the names of vets they would recommend. You really need someone local. Going to an ER for what could otherwise be routine care is expensive.

I think she felt better last night than this morning ... Last night she had energy and was rolling around on her back asking for belly scratches ... Today she's eating a little less and doesn't seem to have that same "spark" I saw last night ... :(

Baby steps right. the meds are kicking in and you know what you are looking for.
I am so happy to see Garland in better numbers.
What dose are you shooting now. 3.5 or did you go back to 3.75?
