Keiko stayed out of the 400s it seems from 12/7/14 pm to 12/10/14 am and even hit 196 on 12/10 AMPS. :-D Now he's back up to 400. I started him on 10 units yesterday evening. I feel like we may be getting close to a good dose for him. He continues to behave more like his old self. He was sleeping yesterday and instead of being conked out he would open his eyes to check out what I was doing.

Your advice and encouragement are appreciated and always welcome.
Thank you!

Hooray for that blue yesterday! :-D Keiko probably spent some time the night before in nice lower numbers, too bad for no tests. As you get closer to a good dose, you should try to get at least two tests per cycle.

Kitties usually start acting a bit more like their old selves when they are getting closer to a good dose. Besides interacting more, you might see more grooming and his fur feeling better. I found those little signs very encouraging as we went up the dose ladder.

We just got as high as 8.75U before Neko turned it around. She also had her acromegaly tumor treated with stereostatic radiation therapy. Now she's getting 2U a shot. We've had a number of high dose kitties in the 10-15 range, and one as high as 31U recently.

punkin got up to 15.5u - i felt like i spent the whole summer (he was diagnosed with acro in june and had SRT in september) chasing him in dose. I just couldn't quite get on top of his numbers and the dose just went up and up. it didn't stabilize or start to go down til he had the SRT.

I'd definitely try to step up the testing. You're getting closer to a good dose and you absolutely don't want to be increasing if you're not sure, based upon test results, what he's doing. that before bed test is really important. i know life gets in the way sometimes, but do your best.

the fact that he seems like he feels better is really great news! keep it up, maria! you're getting there.
