Zener is doing ok this morning. His appy isn't great but he's eating enough. He did venture out in the 1.6 F weather. Not long though, 3 minutes. :lol: :lol: He's napping in my office chair now, after having a long nap on the bed with sleeping Annebean. He did have a soft poo this morning, which Detective Poo smelled immediately after deposit. :shock: Yay for no diarrhea!

OT: Both beans are still under the weather. Lecture and lab just about did me in yesterday. Same thing today. :roll: Lecture should be short and I may leave early from lab. The students will have to rely on the lab aide. Tillie is doing well. Appy is back after increasing the prednisolone to 0.7 ml from 0.6 ml a couple of days ago. :-D :-D :-D

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Happy Tuesday, LL!

Come on Z-man, work that extra juice! I hope it starts taking effect soon and the you can stop the ABs. They always mess things up.

Come on down Zener. More appy vines coming his way and big healing vines for the beans. Ugh on the liqui poo. Really really don't like that. I'm so glad the prednisolone is helping Z. It is great stuff. Stay warm and get well all of you!

Sorry about the liqui-poo. Is Zener almost done with the AB? Nice slide in progress today. Yay for a good appy for Tillie. It sounds like you found a good dose of the prednisolone for her.

Today is day four since the dental and extraction of eight teeth. Our vet emailed us this afternoon and said to discontinue with the antibiotics since he is having GI issues. At least he got 8 doses. She advised us to keep using the bupe for pain. We are so glad the ABs are over. They always throw him off of everything! So, we are going to approach this like a failed dose and increase a bit more tonight. Hopefully as we try to get back up to where he was before the dental, we will start seeing some better numbers. Appy still iffy, but paws crossed without ABs, this will improve.

The MamaBeans are still struggling with the creeping crud, mostly throat crud, and we are having record setting cold weather right now too. Plan for the evening, lots of kitty cuddles and not much else.

I'm glad you've been given the green light to discontinue the ABs...hopefully that will get Z back on track with his appy and poo! Feel better, too, beans!!

Good luck with that dosecrease and paws crossed for happier GI/appy with no more abs.

Kitty cuddles definitely a good plan. I'm with Ella - a hot beverage of some kind should also be part of the evening.

Thanks all for stopping in Zener's condo today to check up on the mighty Z and his bug infested beans. He seems to be feeling a bit better tonight despite the BLECH numbers, wish I could write the same for the beans. Hot beverages have been consumed as instructed - lots of hot tea, chamomile and peppermint, and a big pot of bean chili - that should clear the throats out.

Tillie LOVES being in charge!!

Beans will do their best to get caught up on condo visits this weekend.
 
Tillie the Boss Woman...I like the sounds of that! :-D Glad Zener gets to come off of the AB...hope the poo firms up to "normal" soon. Sending feel better vines to Zener and to both of the buggy beans! Sleep well and stay warm.
 
Hope the beans start to feel as good as Tillie! Happy you are able to stop Zener's AB's and with that, the pudding poo!
