Am seeing a pattern here. Once again, the food we left out for him overnight was still there so he slept all night which is why he is higher in the morning. When he has higher pmps numbers, it is usually on days he snoozes the afternoon away and does not eat. He drops into and stays in normal numbers throughout the day so still not giving any insulin. Weird and I hope it will change in the future as his pancreas heals a bit more. Still no insulin for Simon :thumbup

You've never found anything particular flavor of food or supplement that makes him want to gobble it up? I'm think fortiflora or sprinkling a favorite treat on top that might tempt him when you get up at night.

It could be possible that this is his normal range. You never took his bg levels when he wasn't diabetic so there is no way to know. We think under 120 is the range, but who knows. I wonder what the range for a normal human is........

No, is a sound sleeper and in fact he gets mad at my hubby and I if we stay up later than he wants us too (he sleeps in the family room on his blankie on the sofa) so if we are up late, he meows at us and tells us to "Go upstairs and get out of my bed!" LOL He loves his sleep as much if not more than he loves to eat. He is an excellent eater...during the day!

Normal human BG is under 100 for a fasting BG and up to 120 I think for after a meal.

LOL. Every time you describe how Simon acts, I get this picture of a cat in a 3 piece suit with a patterned vest, maybe a bow tie. He just seems like such a definite individual who knows the way he wants his world to work.
