Sending out every healing vine we can find to Garland this morning. Also keeping Tawny, Rocket, and all other kitties and beans who are not feeling well in our thoughts and prayers.

Good Saturday morning, everyone,

We are at 118 for the third AMPS in a row. I must surely buy a lottery ticket today!! (Edward's words to that: "a fool and her money are soon parted"!!) Rusty got up at some point during the night and ate the spoonful of FF T&G that I put in his automat. This morning he was raring to go: zoomed down the stairs, slid on the rug, zoomed up the stairs and into my study, zoomed down the stairs, sat and meowed--all this while I was trying to brush my teeth! That FF T&G is powerful stuff! He took his shot, but away from his dish. Breakfast was Wellness Turkey and I think he was expecting more FF T&G. But then he ate and cleaned his plate. We had a brief play with Big Bug and went outside in the new dusting of snow. Rusty sat in the snow for a couple of minutes watching the squirrels and birds at the feeder, but then decided to come in. The cushion by the radiator is now occupied!

I don't think the full cold moon was actually seen here last night, but I think the kitties enjoyed their party.

Wishing you all a fine weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Kitties, That full cold moon party was great. The Kitty Chorus sounded wonderful, singing all the holiday songs. The food and beverages were enjoyed by all, and we had a terrific snowball fight. Now, tonight, it's off to Florida to celebrate Milo's OTJ. See you all there,
Rusty

Three days in a row! Now that's impressive! I'm with you Ella, those are lotto numbers. Edward won't mind when the fool wins!

Re: 12/10 Rusty AMPS 118

Very nice! Go Rusty! Zener said he had a great time at the party but refused to divulge any details.

Re: 12/10 Rusty AMPS 118, +5.5 136, +9.5 109

Hi again,
I never did get to buy the lottery ticket, so I am a dollar richer than I would have been! Instead we went out to buy our Xmas tree and wreaths for the doors. It was very cold and windy and I froze my hands while we were tying down the tree on top of the car. But it's a beautiful tree. We are traditionalists and won't be putting it up until closer to Xmas Eve (our traditional time for putting up the tree and trimming it is Xmas Eve, but we will be at my nephew's on Xmas Eve, helping to bring in their tree and trimming it). My father was a perfectionist when it came to picking out a Xmas tree and we would spend hours on Xmas Eve day traipsing around to the different tree lots to find "the" tree. Of course now, if we waited until Xmas Eve to buy a tree, there wouldn't be any left!

Edward is getting the wood stacked in the woodstove so we can have an evening fire. Rusty is helping.

Back later. Healing vines going out special delivery to Garland and Tawny and Tom.

Ella & Rusty

Missed your chance on playing those numbers for the lottery. You know that saying, if you don't play, you can't win. I'm with you, I would rather keep my dollar.

We have gotten a few live trees here in FL but after sitting on the lot in 80-90 weather, they start dropping their needles 2 days after they are trimmed. Sure miss the nice smell of a live tree. The article about your country store was great. Small towns have a wonderful feeling of community.

Have a good night, stay warm.
