fusspot gave me suchhh a hard time trying to take his pressure second time i tried.. i was pretty upset. but he was better last night. and i think the readings are pretty good.. in the vet office, it was good enough the vet was happy.

(two places: top of arm near paw, lay the line/artery indicator.. wrap cuff. or under the base of the tail.

he might need more BP meds.. definitely help but maybe. how tho? idk. 3 are too much.. and we at 2.

Did you bring it to the vet’s office and test side by side? It’s so hard to get accurate readings because of the stress factor. Sounds like he’s stressed testing at home too. What is the second med asI don’t see it in your signature? I think 3 would be crazy but what do I know.

sure did cuz i didnt know how to use it to begin with 😅 ~ doctor showed us how and readings were pretty close.. enough to be usable. 👏🏼 he HATES being fussed with and having to do stuff for me sometimes.. doesnt like his tail or paws touches either too much.. (fortunately hes a champ w the FD things.. 😕)

and second med? he got Amlodipine, Milke Thistle tincture, Proviable.. 😇

also was contemplating calling compound pharmacies see if they can make me some .625 mg tabs and maybe some .75 mg.. that’s 2 tabs (1/4 each) plus an 1/8.. 🙂 which w the math would be like 2 1/2 tabs.. maybe just a teeny bit more would be good. 3 (1/4 tabs) was just too much..

oof ones enough here.. if needed i guess they had to. 🫶🏼😕.. yeah! he was taking 3 1/4 tabs (Amlodipine only).. and so tired, etc. you know ppl just dont want to help. they can't be BOTHERED. for example. the specialist, whose a specialist for the eye, suggested 3.. and i asked his primary at the time, telling them we were referred BACK to primary or an internist for his BP, because i personally didnt want to do 3 if we didnt have to, the primary goes and says to just follow the specialist.. who later said, “i really dont know much about BP tho we prescribe for it becuz of the eye”.. i swear. 😤……….
