Yesterday's very green AMPS

Good morning! Papaya was still feeling a bit off last night - she marched out to the kitchen for a snack around 10:30, then demanded to be put to bed, but about an hour later, she came back out and hung around the litter box. She made a knock-you-down-smelly deposit but still seemed unsettled and didn't come to bed with me. I went to check on her later and could smell that she had left more of the same somewhere in the living room, ew. Happily it was just in her cardboard box! I think she had similar issues the last time I had a can of turkey & giblets open, so I may avoid that flavour for a while . . . don't know what would be in it that wouldn't be in the other poultry flavours?

She's fine this morning, though, with an AMPS that was a lot more manageable for a work day . . . although she seemed to be in a hurry to get to green again. She woke me up at +2.5 (half an hour before I had to be up, thanks, cat :? ) quite determined she needed another snack, so the drop to +4's 72 was in spite of eating quite a few spread-out meals. I gave her a bit of MC before I headed out the door and left plenty of food out in case she's going to keep dropping for a while.

OT but for those that can't believe our Canadian winters . . . it's still VERY cold here . . . so cold that I saw only about three or four people on bicycles yesterday. Winnipeg is weird that way, people are still out on their bikes with their big snowmobile boots in the dead of winter. In fact there's some guy downtown that nonchalantly rides, I kid you not, a UNIcycle every day of the year to and from work.

Have a nice day, everyone!

Sorry the turkey & giblets bothered Papaya's tummy last night. I'm glad she's feeling better this morning. I hope she'll keep surfing for you today.

 on the unicycle.

guess you need a magnifying glass and go scope out the ingredients list...

I can tell you that turkey has a higher fat content than chicken.
That seems to be why my girl doesn't like chicken.... but she'll always eat turkey.

I guess you might also have a larger print to read if you go look it up online.... ;-)

Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault  I immediately thought of that 'Friends' episode when Phoebe sings that song. Cracks me up :-D I hope her tummy feels settled soon. Rhiannon pointed out the higher fat...that could be hard on her belly. I like your starting AMPS today. Makes going away from the house less worrisome, but that +4 looked like a mission in progress. ;-)

Canadians are freaking nuts! That is all.

Hope you had a wonderful day Amy! Sorry I didn't get to visit sooner...passed out again
