unfortunately his bounce appears to be breaking at night again AND after I just found out his food has a lot less carbs than I’d thought. Like zero for pretty much everything in the house which explains why he only came up for proplan :banghead:

I cannot believe I don’t have a can of the only shred Tiki makes that’s 10%—my pantry looks like a pet store …looks again anyway. Every. Other. Flavor. EXCEPT. TILAPIA.

Apparently stuffing him full of fat and protein not so successful. Next check he either tries his brothers food (6.5% but higher fat than I like for Methos)…or :eek:his beloved meat by products.

Lack of tilapia is moot, he’s ignoring my only 5-6% (salmon mousse, chicken mousse, and salmon in consommé —I should eat as well). Ignoring his usual favorite 0 carb mousse. Wants a comfort sachet (80% fat, wouldn’t we all…but no carbs and he’s already had one). Ok, my polydactyl friend—well played. Meat by products and wheat gluten it is

edit: I cannot believe this is how it’s supposed to be, soul crushing highs with ketones, alternating with sleepless nights, countless ear pokes, and shoving junk food into his mouth

Beautiful numbers for the PM cycle! He nearly cracked a green. I’d say that’s pretty darned great for Methos on an AT meter and given his Cushings. I hope you’re celebrating and relaxing. :)

Thanks. We both got an hour. He’s now sleeping post shot. I’m struggling to stay awake to be sure I’m awake for a +1.5 or 2. This cannot be how it’s supposed to work.

Thanks. It took meat by products and wheat gluten to avoid green. Idk what I’m going to do if he doesn’t bounce this am bc I can’t keep feeding him that junk food. Too tired to think about it.

Oh Colleen, I know how tired you must be and how frustrated with the huge swings in BG. And add that we can’t trust the carb content in the cans :banghead:
You’re doing such a great job keeping Methos safe.
His blue cycle was so nice

Try to get some rest if you can.

And yes, that beautiful Casas painting sums up the current scene searching for just the right carbs :bighug::bighug::bighug:
