Luna's numbers have been improving. The last five PMPS have been blue or green, and we haven't had really high numbers as far as we can tell. AMPS have been a little bit higher, but still had two blues.

The last Libre sensor only lasted 3 days because the tech forgot to add extra glue to the back, so we're testing with our ReliOn meter for now. Before we travel for the holidays, we're going to put another sensor on to make testing easier.

We're currently giving a skinny 1.5U (probably closer to 1.25) after that 425 to 59 we had on 12/6.

Luna continues to pack on weight. Last week she weighed 6.4lbs which is a huge improvement from when she was hospitalized. I think she got under 5.5lbs at one point, so it's good to see her starting to fill out again.

Here's a pic of Luna getting ready to tear up our Christmas tree

It is wonderful to see Luna in the Christmas tree! Luna is giving you the best present you could have at the end of THIS year!!!
I just hope you and your wife can relax and celebrate while you are away. Pretty sure you'll work on that:)

Awesome news Dan :bighug:! If it makes you feel any better, we once had to fly at Christmas with connections with a 14 yo cat just stapled up from a lung lobectomy ! The vet said it would be less stressful for him to travel with us vs. leaving him with a pet sitter while recovering. He was right! It actually went extremely well—even with some serious snow delays!!

Wow, I can't imagine flying with her

Does Luna not like traveling in the car?

She is absolutely adorable in the tree!!!

And it's so great to hear she's packing on the weight! Good girl! Everyone gains around the holidays, right...
She doesn't like her carrier. We saw a large car "pen" that goes in the backseat. It has room for a small litter box and a bed. You secure it with seatbelts through the built-in loops. We might try something like that so she has room to move. It's still narrow, so she won't bounce around if we have to break real hard.

I just ordered this carrier for Luci - it's huge!

I thought she'd be much more comfy if she could stand all the way up and move around a bit - not room for LB but then she won't use it in the car anyway...she wants to wait...she doesn't eat much either...I've tried to interest her but she's stubborn...wants to sleep and hang her head out the cage door...so I thought a bigger carrier was in order - we've yet to give it a test run - but we may soon :)

A great day for Luna’s numbers. Neko did three days each way of 9 hours on the road when we went to Fort Collins for SRT and back home. This with a cat who hated the 10 minutes to the vet. After a couple hours she figured out we weren’t going to the vet, and settled down. OK, it was still the vet, but she didn’t know that.:p She spent most of the time in her carrier, with the door open. I sprayed it with Feliway each morning.
