Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too! OH! And orange infused eggnogs!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It ended up being a let the day evolve day. I really, for once, didn't do much..... TRUE! Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. It has been a very low key, laid back day here. I worked on some Christmas shopping, checked "that list" a dozen times, and and am so close to having that aspect of the holidays done. SWEET! I made a short trip to Picnic Point late in the afternoon. Dang - felt alot colder than it really was. Funny how there was no ice there. I can walk .5 miles south to the place I always go, and it has alot. Funny how such a short distance can make such a difference. We are still cold, but better: 32, low at 29. We still have snow predicted, tonight through noon or so tomorrow. Freezing rain too. oh what fun! I so hope it doesn't show up....40% chance, so who knows? paws crossed! I will post the Picassa link to Picnic Point in tomorrow's condo.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. The tree is still standing! I am elated. She did make one trip up the middle yesterday afternoon, hopped around on a few branches before she flew, yes flew, on out from the middle.   We've also had a few nibbles on the lower branches too. I am considering trying a few ornaments this weekend, seeing how she reacts to those. I almost think she will view them as the best kitty toys ever.  Bug may too.  I had one last garland I needed to place yesterday. As I was walking around with it trying to decide on where, Bug was busy chasing the trailing end on the floor.  Since we have been so cold here Elsa has been my little snuggle kitty, as often s she can. That has been nice. I love those lap warmers! Lola continues with the frig door rides, the marathons at warp speed, the glass pounding and just being Lola. YUPP! one can safely say Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. Today is Seattle visit day with my friend in the early afternoon. WooHOO! Well, I hope it is.... we are due for some snowfall, which may affect what I do, if anything. So far it is a no show on the snow. YAY! Bug also has an appt with a cardiologist to finally get that cardio workup I know I need to do. When we adopted him we were told he has a heart murmur and that at some point in time we should get him evaluated in case there is anything we need to know, and also to set that baseline. so... I really hope the weather doesn't force me to reschedule the appt - it took me forever to make this one! . This place is not close to home, so I really hope we have good roads... paws crossed! So far this all looks good. It will be good to get this off my to do list. I really don't expect any issues with Bug, as he is fine, normal and active and as it should be for a 5 yr old kitty.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

I am sure Lola will be thrilled when you add ornaments to her tree!

Sending good weather vines and the best vetty vines ever to sweet little Bug. I have a good feeling about his appointment, too!!

Have a great day, Michelle!

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Hi Michelle,
We are sending good vetty vines for Bug's visit to the cardiologist today. I hope he will travel well and that he will have a good report.

Lola seems to be getting used to the tree--a little bit, anyway! Pretty soon the novelty may wear off and it will be just another piece of furniture to her (of course, that doesn't guarantee anything!).
Enjoy your Seattle day. I hope your weather gets a little milder for your adventures with the boys this week.

THANK YOU, Elsa, for my favorite espresso!!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Good girl Lola :thumbup
Good luck with Bug today.
Sounds like it should all be routine :-D
Have a great day Michelle and be careful out there!

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Lola I am sure will agree with you. Seems we had another climb during the night: two branches were askew... and I can only imagine what adding round bouncy things to that tree will do to her curiosity: escalated comes to mind. THX so much on the weather and vetty vines. I too think the appt will go well. paws crossed!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the vetty! I too hope he travels well - it is a 35 minute drive, so this will be a first for him. We used to have a cardio guy 5 minutes from the house - Mannie's cardiologist, but he added a few letters to his name and moved up and on to another facility, he was good too! anyways... guess we will find out how well Bug travels. And I think so too on Lola - she is getting used to it, not so much of a "WHAT IS THAT!" approach anymore. It is accepted, and now and then something catches her eye and up she goes to check it out. All the curiosity with that one! THX on Seattle, and so agreed on the weather for the boys - it is supposed to warm some. YAY!
Auntie Ella! YUP!! That was just for you.I know you love eh Ethiopian. I thinks maybe I should make it a regular, every day. What do you thinks? ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Morning Pam ~O) ~O) ~O) She is! and thx on Bug. I am sure all will be well, just need to get a baseline set for him, for future reference should there ever be a problem with his murmur. THX on today, will do on all counts. :-D

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

I can't wait to hear how Lola reacts to ornaments on the tree. I hope the weather doesn't get too bad and you can get Bug to his appointment. Hopefully he will travel well.

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Sending the best vetty vines for Bug. It's not fair that the good boy has to go to the vet! Tess says KTSS will be by to get the vetty smell off afterwards, then maybe some schmoozing in the treehouse! I hope your weather stays clear, you can wish the opposite for us!  Warmer is a definite wish though, they promise a change tonight.

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

I am excited to see how Lola reacts to the ornaments. Those were Tarragon's favorite thing ever, until he got old and tired. Good vetty vines coming your way for Bug's cardio. Enjoy your social day Michelle!!

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Good luck with Bug's cardio vetty appointment - so inconsiderate of the weather to not co-operate. We have about 1/2 inch of snow on the ground and are getting freezing drizzle. But it will feel good to have the cardio workup done and over with. Does that mean Bug becomes a member of the shaved belly club? I was lucky with Neko that they have a new gel they can use that means they don't have to cut the hair. Such a rotten cold time of year for a nakid belly. Maybe Bug'll need KTSS this afternoon?

I watch to see what happens with your tree and Lola. We have some plastic ornaments especially for the bottom part of the tree. Kitties aren't so bad about that now as they used to be. We used to have a popcorn garland, but had to toss it with the carboholic around.

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Michelle, sending good Vetty vines for Bug. I'd love to see a pic of his shaved belly. I hope the weather holds up for the trip to the Cardio.
I have laughed and enjoyed Lola's videos. Can't wait for the next encore.
Elsa, many thanks for all the coffee trips and extras for my neighbors. You are the best.
Hugs and scritches from us.

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio day

Hi Michelle,

Hope the weather held out for you and there were no problems getting Bug to the cardio appt. Hopefully, all was well, and you now have a baseline for him. I can't wait for you to put an ornament or two on your tree ;-)

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

Hi everyone! What a day.... Seattle as great, always is fun to see my friend , share stories, catch up. All is well in Seattle. :-D :-D  and (!!) ni snow, just cold at 37. YAY! We dodged the snow bullet!
Bug cardio update: BUG DID GREAT! Despite his beans managing to mess up his appt time, and we were an hour early!  Poor Bug. He was so nervous: panting in the car on the way down,a few LOUD meow's. I managed to calm him down on the drive, just by talking with him, and a few pets and scritches throughout the drive, which was, due to commuter traffic, 45 minutes! He was such a good boy when we got there: I was able to open his door on his carrier, and pet him. He calmed down quite alot then, and Settled in for the wait. The exam was a good one. I do like this cardiologist: very thorough, explains things well. It did help having gone through it all before with Mannie. At anyrate: in his opinion Bug has a level 2/6 murmur, not a 4/6 as reported by the shelter when we adopted him. The Echo showed that he has one valve that is a trivial/mild leak in one of his atriums. All else is 100% normal. At this time there will be no meds, restrictions, etc, and a re-eval in one year, to compare with the baseline we set today. SO YAY! BUG PASSED CARDIO! His BP was rather high, but we all agree that was due to stress, the long wait, ALL THE DOGS (!!!) in the waiting room, and his being so scared. We came home, had a few snuggles, some food, and all has been forgiven. I am glad that all is truly well with him, no concerns, and that we now have a baseline for him for the future. Way to go Bug - you rock!

Hi Carla - Me too on those ornaments... I can so see the scene: dangling things are so cool!  THX on today - weatehr was good,a dn he did travel well, despite his being so unsure...

Hi Ann - THX on Bug - he did well, and end result: no real concerns at this time. Figures doesn't it that the good kitty has the vetty stuff. In a way - so much better than having to take Lola. BUG is so happy to see the KTSS here. He says he smells bad, and just can't get rid of it as well as they do. He like Mannie loves the lavender! The treehouse is rocking as we speak. Weather cooperated too, not clear, but no white stuff either: good to go!

Hi Melissa - Me too on those ornaments. well we will try on Saturday when I have more time. LOL on Tarragon and the old and tired. THX too on the vetty and Seattle. All went well.

Hi Wendy - THX on the cardio vetty - all is well there, one mild/minor issue that does not need treatment. YAY! oh oh - you have SNOW? and freezing drizzle? well, so that's where our snow went. I was elated it missed us, so sorry it found you.... And no, no shaved belly... Guess they do those echo without doing that. he got all gelled up though....  SO glad that his fur is still there! YUPP KTSS had showed up, they are all hanging out in Mannie's treehouse, good times for the kitties. LOL on your popcorn garland... i can so see that. I hope the ornaments will go well. we will try a few at first, she what she will do. and Bug too. He is the one that really likes to bat balls around.

Hi Ann - THX on the vetty vines - he did very well, was a model patient. No shaved belly! I was glad for that. not needed I guess for the echos. And the weather did cooperate/ YAY! TYHX on Lola's videos. She is so funny. I will try and do more once the ornaments hit the tree.
Auntie Ann - you are so welcomes. I LOVES coming to your place. Your neighbors are the best!! ~~ Elsa, lil BIT , kitteh barista

Hi Jane - It did! and we made it just fine, even with the commuter traffic. :-D All is well, and I am grateful that we were able to get the baseline done. oh me too on those ornaments....

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

Poor Bug...seeing my kitties get stressed out is why I hate going to the vetty soooo much. But yay on the great report!!! Stay healthy, little man!!

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

Hi guys,
We are so happy to hear that Bug passed Cardio 101! That's our boy!! I'm glad he got some nice treats and cuddles when he got home and that the KTSS was there to get rid of the vetty smell. Rusty said that Bug was very brave and enjoyed hearing his stories of the day at the vet's.

Now you can relax, and get ready for the boys tomorrow. Have a great evening.

Ella & Rusty

Hey Elsa: I do love the Ethiopian espresso, but I like the others, too. I think you should keep them all on the menu. If I drink the same coffee every day I won't have anything to compare it to. You do a GREAT job, Kitteh Barista!

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

Hi Amy - i so agree. I felt so bad that I had the wrong time and he had to wait. Sire won't do that one again. They did a good job trying to amke up for my error. Poor Bug - he was such a trooper. The end result was great! GOOOOOOOO BUG!

Hi Ella - Me too. I was elated to hear what I heard, and hope all will stay well with him. There is no reason to think otherwise. He was so nervous when he got home, so lots of cuddles and scritches and reassurances. The fuds helped too! Be sure and tel Rusty that Bug loved having the KTSS come, and listen to his "War stories", hang out in the treehouse and eat cookies. And THX: relax for sure, get ready for the boys in the morning. :-D
Auntie Ella! ok, sounds good to me! You are so right, too much of a good thing isn't always the best. You are so wise! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Carla - THX! It was that indeed! :-D

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

What a good day all around for you Michelle! I'm glad the weather held out so you could have your visit today :-D And a much less stressful drive with Little Bug! Woo Hoo on the great vet report. Even though you knew it would be good, it's always still a huge weight off someones shoulders. I definately think it is time to get a couple decorations on that tree! Lola's gonna go NUTS!
Have a great night and I hope Elsa keeps you warm :-D

Oh, Elsa..I need to place an early order for tomorrow morning. This bean has been having a heck of a time waking up this week! Thanks sweetie :-D

Re: 12/10 LOOSE LIPS: It's Tuna Tuesday! & Bug's cardio upda

Hi Kim - Thx, that it was. Me too on the weather, that sure did help! Right your are on the good vetty report. it is a relief. I like that description of Lola and the ornaments. NUTS says it well. I so suspect that is exactly what will do down. Thx on tonight: And I just checked - Elsa is waiting on my pillow. what a good girl.
Auntie Kim - YOU GOTS IT! I will be there. You want more than one? See ya in the morning! ~~ Elsa, Lil, BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Deborah - It was: friends, no snow, good vetty, and big yes on that tree. all was great, as was the evening too.
