Seems like there are more and more FD kitties every day - the FB group gets a ton of requests for access to the group every day...then we refer them here for more help and information.

I'm sure it's the pet food industry selling that junk in the grocery stores, etc. to cat owners - I bought it too - it's such junk that I fed her all those years - no wonder she became diabetic - it was my fault for not knowing more about what to feed a cat.

It does seem that way.... crap commercial food and dry prescription diets for everything. I feel like when I worked in veterinary medicine, vets gave pred to cats for anything because they were difficult to fully examine and because no one wanted to prescribe NSAIDs like Metacam. It's sad.
