WCR: In his usual spot while I'm on the computer. Sounds sniffly while purring. I've noticed since I moved into this apartment two years ago that he sneezes more and sounds sniffly at times. He's good though.

I'm going to guess mold and dust. I'm positive the second bathroom has mold. It has a horrible mildew smell too. I know there is also more dust here than there was at my parents house too (like dust stuff ON the walls here... looks like cobwebs sometimes!). Not sure why. It's gross!! Moving to a different/smaller apartment on January 2nd, so maybe he'll be less sniffly/sneezy then.

could also be that this time of year the heat is on and the hot air blowing around can really stir things up. ( and heat can get mold growing more too ) my civie was always very schneezy when the heat came on.

really not liking these numbers. glad to see you moved it up. testing for ketones ?

Come on down Willow !!!

Cheryl,

Heat on in Florida? That's crazy talk LOL. Yesterday was our first day of almost cool weather. This morning it's 44 and I have the windows open. :) Last ketone check was a few weeks ago and was negative. I haven't been able to get one since.

Its good you are moving. Living in a place with mold is very dangerous.
My husband almost died from exposure to mold. It caused him to develop a strange case of pneumonia that could not be cured with medication. He had to have lung surgery to remove the fluid off his lungs.

Living in Florida, its also possible that mold is in the AC air ducts or HVAC if you do have heat.
Even living in Florida without heat is nuts. Wasnt it last year when it got down in the 30's?

I live in Ohio and the heat goes on when its in the 50's.
