Hi all!
Just wanted to drop by w/an update on Tink & Tawny. They are doing really good and running in the low blues and greens on a regular basis, both of them. I shot Tawny @ 62 last night, and Tink I think it was 71 (as usual my notebook is upstairs and I am downstairs). No, their SS's are not up to date, also as usual.
WCR on both girls is great! Tawny was playing and running around like a wild thing this morning chasing a piece of lint or s/thg all over the place. Tinkerbell was sitting on the bed w/me watching her with a WTF? look on her face. She preferred the warmth of Mommie's blankets I think.
Bean report is that today or tomorrow they are moving the cabin I had to rent to live in while my house is being gutted and repaired after the substantial damage sustained during Hurricane Isaac. As usual the war is on, only this time with the ins. co., since they want to pay $27K on over $90K worth of damage to the home (which amount incidentally does not include the crack all the way thru in the slab foundation). For the time being the critters & I are still living in the damaged house, I have scrubbed all the mold off the surface of the walls and check regularly for any growing, if I find it I clean it off. The kitchen cupboards are still collapsing but at least I have a stove & fridge that function. When I get the cabinets ripped out I am replacing it all with tool chests on wheels, that way when it floods the next time I can just wheel them suckers out of the way, rip out the walls and insulation (again), fix it (again) and then wheel the tool chest kitchen cabinets right back in there!
My job is still great & we just settled a big class action case so we are going to get super-busy now, worse than usual, and it is an incredibly busy law office as it is. I still love working there & still feel like I am finally back where I belong.
I lurk around here every day but rarely post anymore.
