Ripley is 'off.'
Not interested in her breakfast.
She used the LB this morning (normal pee and normal poo), and ketones are negative.
She's drinking more water than usual.
She's alert, but not as perky and sparkly; but she has been leaving her rocking chair (to use the LB earlier and then to drink tub water, and again to see if drooler Marley left any kibble for her).
I wonder if she's feeling nauseous.
I'll give her some pepcid and see if that helps...

At a more reasonable hour this morning, I'm going to put a call in to see if there any subs available to work for me tomorrow. If so, I'll take her in to the vet. If not, I'll have to wait until Tues. afternoon.

Appy vines, and feel better vines for Ripley. I will hope it is just an off day for her, and all is well. Numbers sure are nice. You feel better little one.

Well, and the fact that I just switched proportions of her fuds: 50% wellness turkey and 50% friskies T&G (rather than the standard 99% wellness and 1% T&G). She's chowing down. :-D
I'm glad she's getting food in her system, but still going to try to get her seen tomorrow ~ excessive water-drinking is no good.

Hi Josie. Good news that Ripley seems to just really not like her Wellness :-D You know, out of my 8 kits, only one will eat any of the Wellness flavors...
I hope someone will fill in for you tomorrow so you can get answers sooner about Miss Rippers and her water consumption. Fingers crossed it's just 'a thing'.
Lots of appy vines and feel better vines coming your way. Gonna go ahead and throw in a general health vine and a comfort vine for you too!

Ripley has eaten about a third of her breakfast; I've been giving small amounts to avoid scarf-n-barf, since she's really liking the Friskies. I'm getting ready to feed her some more of the mostly-Friskies/some-Wellness combo.

I'm so glad Ripley is eating better - keep eating, little one!! Good luck with the vetty visit....definitely a good idea to get the water drinking checked out...

Hi Josie. Ripley's numbers look good this more but I'm sorry she isn't feeling well. Glad she is eating but still sending her some appy and feel better vines.

Ripley is still about the same: low energy, drinking more water than normal, and low appy. She just ate about 1-2tsp. of food at t/f/s. (She ended up eating about 4T of her breakfast throughout the morning.) Tonight I'm trying 100% Friskies Special Diet T&G.

She spent some time in the backyard this afternoon, in the sun ~ one of her favorite places to be.

She's now settling in on her rocking chair, preening. Silly girl thinks she's all done eating. Time to entice her...

Oh, and I'm working a short shift tomorrow, so I can call her vet first thing and hopefully get her seen late morning.

I hope that Ripley will be feeling better soon and we are sending good thoughts for her vetty visit tomorrow.

I meant to visit your condo sooner to report on the Armory Show at the NY Historical Society. It was wonderful. The catalog/book of essays is super. Here's a link to it. It is huge, and the reproductions of the artwork are excellent. The essays are first-rate.

Good news: Ripples just joined the Clean Plate Club! Yay!
She also recently got off her rocker (Look, honey, Ripley's off her rocker! <--- never gets old around here :lol: ) and rested next to her favorite catnip toy (her carrot). Didn't bat it nor roll on it, but just rested next to it and gave me squinty-eyes looks.

She's seeming a wee bit perkier, but still drinking water, and still going to (hopefully) go to the vet tomorrow.
Sorry, girl, but we need to find out what's going on before it gets worse.

I'm so glad our little Ripples Dipples finally ate all her fuds. Oohhh.....I'm very worried now, too. I hope the extra drinking is not indicative of anything. Except she's thirsty. Paws crossed.
