It's been another fine day in China-land!

I've been trying to pack for our trip to Branson on Wednesday, but every time I go to add something else, I have to remove 1 (or more) cats...LOL

They sure love laying in the suitcase!

Still trying to decide what to do about her dose while we're gone. I mean she's going with us and all, but last year when she was with me in the hotel (and you'd expect higher numbers) she was actually lower....too low occasionally! Same thing when she went to the vet, which is about an hour's drive...she was lower than I'd expect. I guess she's one of those strange cats that responds to stress by going low instead of high!

Oh well...with any luck, I've got our travel timed so that it'll be after +6 before we hit the road, so she should be in safe numbers when we leave. It's about a 3 hour drive..just wish there was a good place I can think of to pull over about 90 minutes into the drive!!

Hard to believe it's already December! I'm not ready for Christmas!!!

It's nice that you can take her with you on the trip. Max would never be able to go anywhere. He is afraid of his shadow. Nice of China to give you the low numbers during the day. Hopefully not quite so low tonight.

I have always thought China was such a beautiful cat! Now that I know she travels so well I think she is the "perfect" cat! :-D

I hope your trip goes well and China you can ride in the carrier sweetie! You don't need the suitcase!

Okay, now I know why Cinco visited the lagoon today. He was looking for China! Maybe he helped lure her back to shore. At least he didn't follow her into the deep end!

My kitties like to crawl in suitcases, too. Especially Minka. She loves boxes, too.

Cinco also tends to go lower during and following vet visits. Another thing they have in common.

Chris, you don't have to be ready for Christmas yet. It's only December 1st! But I agree that it comes way too fast - especially when you write the wrong date down. :oops: Thanks for catching that!

Does China travel quietly? My two yell like they're being murdered the entire time even on short 15 min trips.

And yes I think it's a given that all cats like boxes and suitcases. I lost Sasha last week and I found her happily sleeping in the bottom of a huge storage box filled with towels. She LOVES to sleep on towels.

Happy travels tomorrow and I hope China behaves for you.
