Is there any way Tammy can get more mid-cycle tests? I think you mentioned a reason why there aren't any PM tests, but with green pre-shots, she really needs the PM data. I'm not comfortable making a recommendation without more info.

I don't know if you've seen this note about dosing without mid-cycle numbers. Maybe you can share this with Tammy?

if she's not going to be able to get the tests, then I would reduce. Most likely Whiskey has gone below 50 at night, probably more than once. If she wants to aim for OTJ, then his best chance for success would probably be to reduce to 2.25 and try to get more pokes to see how that is working. Reducing too much all at once might cause him to lose momentum.

Like Sienne, I remember that there are limitations on testing. It would be worthwhile to point out that a lot of times once the cat flattens out in blue/green, they will start going through a series of fast dose reductions. It would be good to be alert for low numbers so she can catch the reductions when they are needed.

Thanks, gals. And that's my take, too... if he is that low in the morning, you can be sure he was lower overnight. Time to reduce. Safer to reduce.

The good news is that Tammy starts mat leave Monday (baby girl is due in 4 weeks!) so will be home to start spot checking. Right now, both beans work long hours, and with their first pregnancy, and spending time at the hospital when Wayne's dad was sick (he passed away 2 weeks ago)... it's been crazy. I give them credit for working so hard and being so dedicated to Whiskey. Maternity leave is a full year in Canada, so lots of time for spot checks. (Aside from being exhausted with the baby, of course! LOL!)

Unfortunately, they don't have a computer, so SS updates may be spotty.

Thanks!!!

lol! lots of opportunities to get PM spot checks with a new baby in the house! :-D
can't add anything to what's already been said...
