J.D. tried to wake me at test time and for some reason, I thought I had more time to sleep, then I looked at the clock and it was past when I wanted to shoot. I got him out of bed to get his test and shot and he went out briefly in the 25 degree weather and then went back to bed. He looks so cozy there. I just brought him his 1st Breffis at +0.75 and put one of his self heat kitty pads on his front paws to double act as a place mat and put his bowl on top and he is happily eating in bed.

I have coffee started, so I guess I will not be joining him.

Re: 12/08 J.D. AMPS HI

They do make good alarm clocks don't they! Time to come on down JD :-D Brave kitty heading out into the cold... brrr!
Be careful when you're out and about today. Hopefully the freezing rains hold off till you get back home :-D
Have a great day Dyana!!

Re: 12/08 J.D. AMPS HI

Hi Dyana,
Rusty won't even go out into the "mud room" in the winter. J.D. is very brave to step out into the cold. Enjoy your coffee and your day.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 12/08 J.D. AMPS HI, +4 274

Thanks for the visit Ella.

J.D. just went outside again. He'll find out his watering can is frozen in a sec and come back in.

I don't know why he rises so fast and comes barreling down. It's a good thing I haven't been given him any R lately.

I just went to check on him, because he was still out there, and he was licking the ice  silly cat.

I think I have to make cookies today. I have all these empty tins waiting to be filled. And I have all the ingredients. I just have to go buy eggs. UG. I just made a tons of cookies at my Dad's house.

Oh good, J.D. just came back in.

Talk to you later.

Does anyone have any idea why J.D. bounces so high? I know no one has answers, and I don't expect any :-|
I can hear him clinking his plate on the tiles in the bathroom licking it clean from his 3rd Breffis.

Hi Dyana,
I'm glad J.D. is eating well today.
It's funny he was licking the ice outside.
Frozen water can must have made his confused.

I am sorry J.D. bounces so high.
Do you need your patient pants I borrowed yesterday back?

Thanks Mariko. I mainly need them when I work and only see the high preshots. I'm off tomorrow, so you can keep them a while longer.

Mr. Bionic Liver is doing okay. We have about 1 inch of snow. I am going to try to get the kitties out for a quick walk.

WHAT? JD got breakfast in bed with a paw-warmer?! lucky little guy - he's a special one!

we're in a heat wave now - it's up to 20* at 3:30. making cookies sounds pretty good about now. nom nom nom :-D

I Love My Cats. I Love My Cats. I Love My Cats.

I was smelling something, and I found poo under the tree (I guess J.D.) and a hairball (which I know is Ginger). I bought a new tree skirt this year, but I think I'll put the old one up now. And, J.D. just had stinky wet (formed by stinky and wet) poo on the pee pad right outside the litter box which is 3 1/2 feet from my computer/nose.
Usually Ginger has diarrhea, so I should be used to it. Hey, I'm getting used to the smell already. :)

The cats didn't mind the snow at all. We had a pretty long walk.

J.D. was just looking like he was going to throw up and I knew to grab a paper towel and put it under his bum. He had some more stinky stinky wet poo and there was a little bit of blood. I gave him some FortiFlora. I hope he feels better soon.
I think I have some metronidazole from the last time. It's just weird that he was on Miralax all vacation to make sure he pooed, and now that we're home it's the opposite. Maybe it has something to do with the change to mixing in the Friskies to his diet.
Send better poo vines to J.D., please. He had normal poo last night. And the poo under the tree (if that was his) was hardish.

Sending feel-better-tummy vines to J.D. (and Ginger, for that matter!) You sure are a good mamabean! There is no way in **** that I would take Shasta on a walk in those conditions/temperatures! (can you tell I'm a Florida girl...born and raised!) But I do love the picture of them on their walk...so stinkin' cute!
