Well, it's been a challenge lately. Milo seems a little better than yesterday but his BG is much higher than normal (illness? eating MC a few times but not much at a time). He's been eating a bit on his own though I syringe-fed him this morning a total of 24cc's LC/water to make sure he had something in his system. I left out the raw diet that he seemed interested in and put a little MC over the LC to try to entice him to eat. He only ate the raw and MC but probab;y a total of almost a can total intake so far. That's not too bad for Milo, especially when he's not well.
I also gave the Cerenia and Mirtazapine this morning to try and deal with any nausea (he still sniffs his food like he's hungry then turns away). He's down almost a pound from September 6th (6.8lb on Sunday from 7.6lbs 3 months ago). He is up and wandering around, interacting a bit and doesn't have the visible signs of pain like yesterday. He's snuggly and purring when I pick him up.
I couldn't get him into the vet today but he has an appointment for tomorrow and I will ask for the generic form of Ondansetron as anti-nausea and a trial of cyproheptadine for appetite.
Take care, everyone.
