Happy Caturday to all. WCR: Tuffy is just fine. All p's and f's (feisty and fresh) in place. I left at 7:00 this morning and her bg was 71. I returned at 3:45 (I left out 1 1/2 C FF). Her BG was 124. I think I overdid the food. Her PMBG was 92. The Tuffy Chronicles for this week include: She chewed the laces out of my sneaks, found the Christmas toys and dumped catnip all over the bedroom carpet, destroyed a box of Kleenex and cleaned off the bathroom vanity. Last night when doing my pilates I had a 20lb cat on my chest. I wonder if that is beneficial or not for my core exercises. She loves to roll around on my yoga mat and does not wait very patiently till I'm finished with it.
WBR. Very trying day, was run off the road towing 3150 lbs of hay and grain by a Corvette passing in a no passing zone. Thank heavens I drive a big SUV which handles like a dream and I had an angel on my shoulder otherwise I would not be here to post. I wish I had the sign I had in the back of my old jeep. It was upside down and it said: If you can read this please roll me over. Other that, my grandson won 2 events in an invitational swim meet. I am very proud of him. He won the 200 IM and the 400 IM with fantastic times. Now, I will finish chores and hit the hay.
Nice to read so many positive posts about kitties that are doing well and those that have been rescued. Glad some of the ill ones are on the mend. Power of this Board is amazing. So thankful for this Board and all the rewards we reap for our diabetic kitties. Tuffy is a testament to PATIENCE and the guidance we received here. Thanks to all who babysat me with low numbers and a case of nerves and a kitty that liked to surf the 20s and 30s and frighten me to death.
Much sadness with the loss of Pelusa. Fly free sweet lady.
