This cycle has hope :-D

He ate his breffis and I haven't given his pill yet, but I will in a sec.
I feel bad that I haven't had much time on the board lately, but my life just seems so full. Today, I will be on when I can. Then I have to work the next 6 days after.

My thoughts are with Nathalie & Pelusa, today.

Ha! for hope for this cycle. He ate two breffises, but still! He's kind of been free feeding, because Ginger doesn't like the flavor this morning, so he's been eating her's, too. But still.
I was hoping for a nice blue, and and ..

I gave him a TOR because I'm home all most of the day, today. I'm going to get dressed now, do some housework, and maybe dig out the Christmas stuff.

J.D. is acting fine, but I saw him drink some water and he's peed twice this morning. I just fed him his 3rd breffis. That's gone, and how he's eating Ginger's.

I double checked the cat food can. Sophisticat Beef and Liver (no gravy). I looked at the little pills.. and thought, they didn't give me sugar pills, did they? :lol:

We just got back from a little (biting cold) outside time. J.D. was far away from me, and I crouch down and call him and he comes trotting to me (about 70 yards or so). He did that twice. I should get a video, he opens his mouth once in a while as if he is meowing, but no noise comes out. He didn't learn to meow until he was like 5 or 6 years old. We are back inside and both cats thought they would get rewarded with more food, but I think that's enough for a little while. Hopefully anti-jinx maybe I'll get his BGs down enough for the Levemir to take over, soon.

I looked in J.D.'s bed and he wasn't there. I looked around and found him sitting there, next to his food bowl, looking so cute handsome, staring at me. I smiled and said "I love you", and he winked at me. He has different ways of communicating. Like sometimes, when I talk to him, he wags the end of his tail. Sometimes he winks. Sweet cat.

I am going to do some quick out the door stuff. Will be back within the hour. I'll have to do my other out the door stuff, later in the afternoon.

awww that's so cute! they sure do have their ways of telling us how much they love us!

I get hectic life right now, there doesn't seem enough hours in the day. Hope your life settles down soon

Thanks for all your nice posts, guys. They warm my heart.

I got back a little later than I expected. Had to stop on my way home to get bird seed to feed the birds to entertain my cats. The Tractor Supply Store was packed..it was puppy adoption day, and I had to peer at the puppies :-D
I only peered, but both my cats had to smell me when I got home.

It looks like J.D. has leveled off. Maybe, I shouldn't have fed the +5 as I went out the door, but I did.
He's playing kind of sort of..or is slightly excited because Ginger is racing around the house and sliding on a plastic bag that was left on the floor. I'll wait and see if he goes up again. If he does, I'll give him some more R. If not, I'll go do some more out the door things, that will take closer to two hours.

A diabetic friend at work told me "I think he is dropping too fast". An FDMB friend told me maybe I shouldn't give him the R and see what happens. Well, tonight is the last chance I feel safe giving him some R, because I have to work such a long week, so I did. I'll have six days ahead of me to see how he does without. I totally don't know if I am causing the bounces to be worse. I wish Jojo were around.

J.D., what's up with those higher numbers? Such nice yellows in there. Sigh.

I've been confused about KB's cycles, too. Took some time to refill the shed after a weekend away and two nights where DPS gave shots and I feel like we lost a great momentum.

I hope JD is back on track soon. We know he can do it.

Hi Dyana,

I hope your able to get some good data on J.D. without the R, but I know you said you'll be working so.....

I had a cat that used to meow like that once in awhile. We called it the silent meow. She didn't always do that but she wasn't a very loud cat anyway.

Hope J.D. will come down for you.

This drop wasn't quite as fast as two nights ago, but still pretty steep.

J.D. has eaten a lot today. These are the notes from my spreadsheet:
Work Day Off. Ketones - Negative. Ate 1/8 can Sophisticat at AMPS (6:09am), and ate Ginger's 1/8 can. Gave 25mg. Clindamycin. Ate 1/8 can Sophisticat at +2, and ate Ginger's. Ketones - Negative. Ate 1/8 can Sophisticat at +3, and ate Ginger's. Ate 1/8 can FF at +5. Ate 1/4 can soupy FF at PMPS (6:11pm). Ate 1/4 can Sophisticat at +3.25 and ate most of Ginger's 1/4 can too. Gave 25mg. Clindamycin.

Plus he's had a bunch of steak bits, rehydrated freeze dried Mahi Mahi, 2 pill pockets, and a couple bits of cheese.

I hope J.D. levels off for you and surfs nicely, Dyana. I know the bouncing is frustrating, I wish there was an easy solution for it.
