Ok, skipped the +3 snack as that was the LC I was giving him. I just gave him another teaspoon. Should I give him any more right now?

Before (previous post/day) someone said not to feed him so he stayed hungry incase I needed to bump him up with food.

Had to take three reading. 1st time he moved and I didn't think I got enough blood - 2nd time was significantly higher so retested again after 5 min.

+6 62, 84, 75

I am not sure what number to go with - so I averaged it @ 74

He will get his +6 snack in about 10 min.

Will do. It will be food influenced. It will be about 40 minutes after his +6 snack. That will be in about 20 minutes.

What we usually suggest is that you continue testing for at least 2 hours from the last time you feed any high carb food to make sure they're going to stay safe.....most of us feed multiple times a day, so if the low carb is keeping him above 50, that's the important part ...the only time we really want the number not to be influenced by food is at Pre-shot times....if you have to pull out the high carb, that 2 hour clock starts each time you have to use it
