Too much R in the mix. Even though it is supposed to be an in-and-out insulin, it can have depot effects on the following cycle. (I have a lot of trouble putting on the patience pants

It is a secondary insulin available OTC and has to be used with caution for kitties that have trouble getting out of high numbers. Lantus/Levemir is good at keeping low numbers down, but can have a hard time bringing sustained high numbers down & that's where R comes in. Not recommended for non-acro/non-IAA kitties.

She really does stay mostly flat, doesn’t she? Often looking at others SS, seeing lots of large (sometimes) ups and downs... I’m always waiting... to see this?
I guess I should be happy she seems to body surf small waves at the shore
I do wonder tho, will she always be an insulin diabetic kitty? If so, this is ok with me as long as I can keep her well regulated- now her I’m sure a diff opinion, “no more pokes Mom, I’m over it!”
