Yesterday Butters got all the way up into the 400s.:banghead:o_O This morning, she was down to 164.:confused: But quickly back up to the 300s. It is what it is, I guess. No change with Butters. Like her numbers, how she is feeling is very up and down and changes day-to-day.

Deep breaths. Patience.

Today is a 12 hour workday and so is tomorrow. Will start a new vial of Lantus on Friday.

Well, we should celebrate that beachy start nonetheless :cool: Sorry about the ups and downs :bighug: Butters has the best mama bean around!

Sorry Lyla I didn't see your comments til this morning, for some reason. Wow you have lots of snow you live in Ontario? We have snow but our temps are mild and it's melting. I'm just happy the highway is in good shape.

It is a roller coaster ride for sure. I always wished I could bottle the good days and use it to turn a bad day into a good.
 
Today's start was very nice. I'm sorry her numbers are all over the place, it's got to be frustrating. I know I would have to work really hard to squeeze in the patience pants.

100% this. The good days are amazing. Seeing Butters happy and content brings me probably an unhealthy amount of happiness. The bad days are rife with sadness.

Mo has been going up after we increase his insulin also. I'm not particularly sure what's going on but I'm hoping we can both get our babies feeling good soon <3

Meant to respond yesterday. Thanks Katy:bighug:. I really hope Mo stays pain-free and that his numbers come down soon, too. I think about you both every day. Tell him to stay out of the cereal.;)
 
Anyhow, so here we are this afternoon with the same crazy high BG numbers, and me feeling very selfish for delaying trying the new Lantus by two days. That would be too easy a fix!
I unfortunately have a boss who hates animals. :mad::( But I think I'm going to try the new vial out tomorrow instead of waiting for Friday. I have two days of intense meetings (video meetings now) with politicians and the general public to discuss and present on "issues"....so what could possibly go wrong if Butters goes low during any of that?! lol. I'll just set a lot of alarms as reminders to check her frequently. Okay then it is decided. :nailbiting:

Fingers crossed the new vial is the solution! We definitely should celebrate that she reached 162 at AMPS this morning. Could she be bouncing perhaps? Like you said, it is what it is. She will start to feel better soon, I'm sure. You're doing all the right things. Big hugs to you, Lyla :bighug:
