12/01 Rufus AMPS 101, +3 106, +4 105

Yesterday's Condo

Well, it's the start of an icky December for us here on the east coast, I hear (and see). But, Rufus doesn't seem to be taking it to heart. At 88 he's feeling very spunky and not horribly cooperative, either. That being said, his dose is 1.00u, which we just reduced to, and the last times I was given an AMPS like this he was at 1.25u - I gave him a Skinny 1.00u or proportionate each time and it seemed to work out fairly well. I think I should probably go with a Sk1 or so this morning, too, but I dunno.

Cancel panic. Rufus is 101 after about 15minutes post first test. I guess I'm going to go for the full 1.00u. Off I go.

Good morning guys! Nice numbers so far rufus ... I hope you surf the day away in blues and greens .. sorry to hear about your icky weather ... its snowing here this morning .. not amusing to the kitties .. have a great day guys!

It is planning on being ugly today, but no snow here! (But is there anything funnier than a cat discovering snow for the first time?)

Rufus is being lovely this morning... except for that highly unimpressive "food spike". He had seafood for breakfast, so I'm going to give him a bite of his regular LC that's a bit heavier in carbs to snack on and we'll see if that will let us coast through these coming hours.

126 at +2. Doing well - no dipping, diving, or naughtiness. I think it might be time for a little more snack, though.

Rufus is sleepy, but in a much better mood now that he's had plenty to nom on. I'd bet a little more would put him in bliss. :-D

Wow, is that rain coming down (actually, it's very pretty). Rufus' +3 is 106 - I am very pleased with this, and will continue to test him throughout the day (which is a lot easier now that he's in a good mood!) His ears are looking pretty bad, probably due to his bolting as soon as he hears the 'beep' from the monitor. :roll: . No chance to give those punctures a little squeeze to help with any potential bruising. Silly boy. However, I think both of us would prefer bruised ears more than a visit from the hypopotamus.

(Wow! Now it's really coming down!)
