How quickly you go back up depends on a couple of things. First, how long does it take Girlie to clear her bounces. You want to wait for the bounce to clear then go back up if it looks like she's not getting back to green when the bounce is over. The other sign to look for is numbers gradually increasing. What do you think?

I swear, Wendy, I'm losing my mind - I have got to get some sustained sleep. All I saw when I looked at her chart was yesterday's high numbers: the shark dive from the day before didn't even register on me! Good grief...

I came home from work and she was 95, even though I'd left 13% food out for her. So I guess yesterday's (10 Dec) run up the ladder - and this morning's AMPS - was just a bounce after her shark dive on 9 Dec - and that this isn't a failed reduction even with the bounces to such high numbers.

Or perhaps - because I was at the very end of the cartridge - that had something to do with it as well? I started a new cartridge last night, but she was still red at AMPS.

Although I'm glad to see green today, I still don't get these deep dives of hers even on food that's 13% carb or more. I don't think I'll ever figure Girlie out! :confused:

Now this is just not fair, Girlie! I came home to find a lovely huge poo on top of my bed... and pukas next to my desk, which I assume was a result of straining to poo. Why she poo'd on top of my bed is a bit of a mystery to me, though, unless she was trying in the LB, had no joy there, and then something happened when on top of my bed. Good grief... Or was she trying to send me a message? I know that cats will poo on your bed if they're cranky about something, but I don't know what she'd be cranky about...

She actually has two litterboxes, but I removed one the other night to clean and didn't replace it this morning. Still, the one LB that was available to her was clean when I left this morning. She did wee in it as some point, though.

Girlie, I can safely say you did not make my day today! Sigh... But the sun is shining, she had a poo, and everything will be dry by tonight. :-)
