Thanks to Wendy, Ella and Marje for your nice comments, I seem to have been able to sleep off the cold that I felt coming on. I don't want to be sick with Thanksgiving so close as I have to cook the dinner...Tiger is doing very well, I think her turnaround was last Thursday, and it has continued(knock wood!) We are finally done with those extra meds, it is such a relief not to have to chase her down and force her to swallow them! I may continue to give her an empty pill pocket(minus the pepcid) just occasionally, just in case I ever have to give pills. Pill pockets work good for small pills but the Clavamox pill was large enough that she bit down on it and spit it out. Today all 5 P's were present, the sun came out for a bit and she was able to go outside for maybe 10 minutes, just enough to get down the stairs and to the back lawn. Tomorrow is the follow up with our regular vet, we were actually due for her regular 6 month checkup Nov.21st, but since the pancreatitis episode,we can do both the check up and follow up in the same visit.
Sending tons of healing vines for all kitties in need- and their humans as well! All it takes is to have something come up unexpectedly with kitty, and then you realize what a comfort a forum like this really is- thanks all! :YMHUG:
