If we had that much snow in the UK we would grind to a halt and it would be absolute chaos :lol:

Good start for the Skooter-boy.

Maybe a foot of snow! Ah, I remember those days. And the excited anticipation of a SNOW DAY!!! 'Course our district wouldn't announce them 'til 6:00 a.m. or later so I'd have to go heave-ho the driveway snow in the still dark hours of morning "just in case." I'd feel crushing defeat if the announcement never came.

Get your storm prep done easily. Curl up with a kitty and keep toasty warm today.

Skooter looks great. It always amazes me to read of snow when we are still having a heat wave in the 80's!!

Looks like Skooter is going to surf and allow me to have brunch with my sister's after all :)

Then it is home to figure out my Christmas card design and Skooter's cards (yes, Skooter sends Christmas cards to the animals of the family and friends I send Christmas cards, as well as to his grandparents and aunts and uncles. I yes, I realize this is just further proof I will be a single crazy cat lady for life and I am A-Okay with that)...after determining the designs, need to assess the supplies still needed and then out to get them before the snow hits...

Not trying to rub it in, honest. I am sick of the hot weather and we so desperately need the rain. I must admit I would be lost in the snow and begging for sun. :smile:

Hi Molly and Scooter! what a nice day for Scooter! Im in SW Fl and its cool here today, but rained all day and last night too. Im not complaining about the rain though, I find that we can always use it here. What a great idea on the Scooter cards for Christmas :smile:

Yikes on the snow...I'm so not a fan, and I'd be crying with that forecast! Gorgeous surf for Skooter, though. And I LOVE that he sends out Christmas cards - that is so sweet!!!!

Well, don't get TOO jealous everyone, but is a balmy 32 degrees here...... Snow should be starting sometime after midnight, an inch or so of sticky crappy kind of snow for the commute TO work....but the fun will REALLY happen going home as during the course of the day we should get up to 8-12 inches of blowing snow causing drifts....

If I leave work at 430, I can usually be home by 450....let's put it this way, I do plan to leave at 430 (maybe a little earlier) and I am still planning on Skooter getting a late shot (normally it is between 6 and 615)...

Skooter has been sending out cards for the past, I would say3 or 4 years....even his vet clinic gets one....the problem is I design and make them all myself. So I usually have about 10 to 15 to make for him, but then the design from the human (me), I need to make about 80....

So I handmake about 100 cards at Christmas....usually I am already part way done with putting them together at this point, but I am just having a lot of trouble with the design this year, for both of them....though I THINK I am close to both....just have to keep trying out a few more things...

Turkey bacon cooked for the week, hashbrowns on now, yogurt and cheese stick in lunch bag, next up is a late dinner for tonight/tomorrow's lunch and then we shall see what Skoots has in store for me....

Skooter is looking fantastic today! Sorry to hear about the impending snow storm. I have a friend up in that area and he's like a big polar bear...and even he's not ready for it! :shock: I wouldn't mind getting a little of that cold down here in FL...today was rainy and in the 60's. WOW on the 100 or so handmade Christmas cards! I bet they are awesome!!!!! Be safe and stay warm, Molly!!

some year's cards have turned out better than others....

welpers, it looks like I am getting "permission" to go to sleep!

Time to catch some zzzzz's so I can be all set for tomorrow....
