cleared the bounce last night & i decreased him down to 8.5u this morning. this isn't just Dialing for Dosages, it's flying by the seat of your pants. what could've possibly ever created that saying, anyway? i've gotta run out of town this morning and couldn't decide what a safe dose was to leave him, so he's going on a little road trip with me. then i won't be worried the entire time.

breakfast scarfed, right paw washed, he's parked in his fav spot where he can watch anything that might happen. we have to keep an eye on things! :lol:

Travels with Punkin - love it! I can still see the adorable picture from his trip to treatment - the one with him screaming "I've been kidnapped" from inside the car :lol: ! What a classic!

Julie, you are doing a GREAT JOB of managing his dose! It's not like you have any guidelines to go by. His numbers are super even though you've cut his dose from 15.5 to 8.5 in less than 2 months. Jeesh, that is crazy. Go punkin!

Wow! Punkin is flying down that ladder. Way to go big guy. Road trip with mom? Why yes please, but can I drive?

he did very nicely on the little road trip to portland. he was fairly obnoxious at the beginning, but once we got out of town and therefore he was pretty sure we weren't on our way to a vet, he calmed down. stayed most of the time under my seat and now and then would come out, put his front paws on the armrest with his back feet on the back floor, and survey everything. talk to me a bit, then go back under the seat.

dang he's cute. not that i'm biased. when i parked and looked back he was watching me out the back window and i was thinking "too bad i didn't bring my camera . . . "

i was glad to have him along so i could test him and not be all worried and rushed. good thing he's portable sized! :lol:
 
It's great Punkin travels well. Neither if mine do. Doobie cries absolutely the entire time he is in the car. He gets hoarse every time!
