I haven't been on the forum for a couple of days due to my schedule, Milo has been doing well, he went pink for a few tests, but remains in good numbers (mostly green!). Shockingly I have been shooting green numbers because I feel more comfortable doing so since I know for the most part what his numbers will do, but I still monitor closely. I do have trouble with his feeding schedule though, like how much to feed him and at what times, so I am working on that. He tends to throw up at his 7 PM feeding and thats when he gets his shot so that really worries me, I can always get him to eat more food but i think its too long from his other feeing at 2 PM to that one and he scarfs it down and it causes the throwing up, so I need to space it out more. Any feeding advise is welcome!

Milo is doing great! Auto feeders help a lot with scheduling mini meals during the day and night. Then he may not be as likely to scarf and barf.

My civvie Ginger scarfs and barfs sometimes :roll: , and then is hungry for more soon after..

Can you feed him a smaller meal at PMPS, and then another small meal 30 minutes later?

I go to work and am not home until PMPS and try to set the feeder to open at +7. I also, often feed at +7 at night time, too.
I don't know if a shorter time between feedings, would help you in your situation.

Those are great ideas, and yes I need to make sure he eats smaller meals, I agree the scarfing is causing the barfing!

BK eats several small meals per day:

AM - 1/2 can FF - I feed him
+4 - 1/4 can FF -timed feeder
+8 - 1/4 can FF - timed feeder
+10 - 1 freeze dried chicken treat
PM - 1/2 can FF - I feed him
+4 - 1/4 can FF -timed feeder
+8 - 1/4 can FF - timed feeder
+10 - 1 freeze dried chicken treat

I started out with just the meals in the feeder. Once BK got to the point where he was not eating like a horse, I noticed he would eat the +8 meal whenever he felt like it.
I didn't want food to influence the PS, so I added the +10 treats . This way if he didn't finish his +8 meal by +10 it would no longer be available and I was sure his PS was not food influenced.

i'm not sure what your schedule is like...but binks does well with a mini-meal at +9...curbs his appetite for the pre-shot.
(i also feed mini-meals at +1,2, & 3...but at the moment I have a very open schedule...)
