Max cleared his bounce quickly and went green last night. I wonder what he has in store for me for today.

Thanks for the visits. I cancelled my spin bike because Max dropped last night right when I would be gone It's probably just as well even if he doesn't dive because my back is hurting more right now. I think I strained it picking my little porker up so many times from under the bed. I don't think the exercise yesterday did any harm but I am disappointed that it isn't better yet. I can't take more Aleve until noon.

Looks like he didn't need the hc since he jumped up from 53 to 95. Hopefully he will surf now.

Well I stopped the slide at 4.75. He is now and 116 so I am off to see my mom. Yesterday we went for a long walk. I hope she is up for it again today.

It was bound to happen. I left the pen out all day. It has been used for 47 days. Do I toss it and start a new one? I have the one that I started 23 days before this one and thought it was working so switched to this one or else I start the one new one that I have left. I did use the one I left out of the fridge tonight.

I think it should be fine Elise. I left mine out a week or so ago, and it seems ok. It was cool in the house at the time. Its the same one Im using now and the one that was shipped and arrived with the ice completely melted and less than room temp. Ive just kept using it and have seen good results still.

Another beautiful cycle for Max! I missed condos yesterday, but I was hoping your back was feeling better Elise? Also hoping your mom is doing better as well? I've left my vial out overnight during the late spring when it was warmer, it was fine. Aren't the pens designed for people to carry them around? So you would think it would be okay if you only left it out for a few hours?

I think it should be fine, too. I had to leave Trix's pen out for 5 days a couple years ago when we lost power during Hurricane Sandy and it was fine. And, like Ruth mentioned, the pen is designed to be carried around. Storing in the fridge extends the life of the insulin, but being left out for a few hours won't cause any major damage.

Hi Ruth. Thanks for stopping by. My back still hurts but not quite as much. I'm still taking Aleve or Advil and it lets me know that I need more. Lifting Max hurts it and it has moved more to one side. I now think I strined it lifting Max. As for the pen it is meant to be taken places but I think it is only supposed to last about 28 days. It was out for the full 12 hours. I'll see what others say but I think it can't be worse than the vial so that is good to know. Thanks. How is Toget doing? Hoes the appetite?

Yesterday was better than today with my mom. Two days in a row would be too good to be true sadly.

i would continue using the same pen. If his numbers start to trend up, then consider if it's the pen. They're supposed to be good for 28 days at room temp, so I'd think you'd have at least another 28 days with it. Make a note on your ss.

Great day for Max again today - which is becoming typical for him! :-D

feeling for you with the back pain - it's just the worst. continuing to think of your mom, too.
