LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all my fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle. Try it - it is really GOOD!

Yesterday was.... YELLOW day in MannieLand. A resting day.... OK so will let him have this day off. But tomorrow back to business! OK Mannie? Blues again tomorrow? Maybe even a dip into the green lagoon. So.... is that a yes Mannie? We sure could use some better numbers... It has been a while since we have had those. No greens in a couple of weeks. Hmmmm, we might have to think dose increase if we don't see some soon. What is interesting is knowing that if I had switched meters to the new one, which reads 10% lower than the current one, some of those low blues would be high greens. hmmmm..., and grabbing at straws. :lol: I still have strips to use fro the old one, so won't make the switch til they are used up. Besides, Mannie is a firm believer in Zener's theory that yellow + blue = green, so good to go. :lol: :lol: :lol: Lubs ya big guy.

All is well in MannieLand. Mannie is glad his best buddy has been here for the past couple of days. He is so funny... still very cautious when Nicholas arrives in the morning, still trying to determine the minute the door opens: LOUD, or quiet.... still peering around the corner of the wall, all wide-eyed: what will it be? They usually compromise half way. Mannie usually ends up accepting the nanners, DGS usually ends up trying so hard to no screech. :lol: :lol: :lol: Nicholas and I had a very busy day at the river yesterday. He was so tired when we got home that he just laid down on the floor n a blanket I had laid out for him, and was asleep within seconds... Mannie watched for a few, trying to figure out why the tiny human was asleep on the floor. It was like he instantly approved; WOO HOO! Another floor sleeper. :lol: :lol: :lol: his morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty today. It will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot. He still loves the rivers, so I hope to be able once again to get to one. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody! Guess what! The sauna for the treehouse has arrived ! We gets to install it today - woo hoo! It should fit perfectly. I checked and rechecked all the supports and we is good to go You guys wanna help? We could have a sauna party or sumthin' after that. and oh! The firepit /grill is on backorder so we's got to ad-lib for a bit on that. This is so fun! We can get all almost done today. Then we party! You guys in? Let me know... Nicholas and I had a great day - a very cool afternoon at the river about 20 miles from Snoqualmie pass. it =was cold, but we still had a great time. LOL on the grabbing at straws... but YES! that 201 was really a 180. I like it! :lol: :lol: And THX - we are lucky in that we do have so many wonderful places to go, drives aren't too bad either - maybe an hour tops. Nicholas has become quite the back seat driver, when he's not sleeping that is... HAHA - too fun! Mannie was so cute checking on the sleeping DGS. he was so unsure.... and satisfied. :lol: :lol:

Hi guys .. ok mannie, you saw it here first hand, no action equals an increase! Too funny on mannie approving of another floor sleeper .. good thing nicholas didn't fall asleep on his nanners, there might have been some unhappy kitties had that happened! Have a great weekend!

Morning Michelle and TY Mannie on the Triple Cappucino with extra foam, my very fav drink, and the Venti quad dutch apple mocha, awesome new drink! Which meter are you using now, Michelle? I have two, the Arkay Vital and Relion Confirm, and both are very close in range. Sometimes if I don't get quite the spot of blood right, they throw me a whopper number and then I need to check again. So funny on their meet and greet and Mannie checking it out first. :lol: I bet that was so cute with DGS zonked out on the floor and mannie having a floor buddie.

Mannie, wow on the sauna. I'll get my tool kit and help out with some things. Yes then fire up the wood stove and have some good foods and niptunis, too! See ya at curb, Mags

Hi Michelle, Glad we have normalcy in Mannieland. Great pictures, your area always looks so gorgeous. Funny on Mannie assessing Nicolas volume hi or lo and approving Nic sleeping on the floor, I can almost imagine them cuddled up together, cat and pseudo-cat. cat_pet_icon

202 @ PMPS. and not too bad of a day for Mannie. A little high on the blues, but I will not complain. All in all today has been fairly consistent. GO MANNIE! Maybe the blues tonight? Maybe a toe dip into the green lagoon?

Nicholas and I had a great day - we always have great days! Swimming in the morning, almost two hours. WOW on that, the fish is indeed a fish. We went to a local river park after that, where he could chase ducks, throw rocks, swing on swings, run in leaf piles. WOW - what a fun time for him. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

HI Devon oh yes on the increase.... i may have to try that again., last one sent him diving... so we are being cautious. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA on Nicholas sleeping on the nanners - I am still laughing on tat one. I can only imagine the scene.... :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - right now I am using the Maxima, and will be switching to the WaveSense Presto, once my strips for the maxima meter are used up. I like the MAxima - it's a simple basic meter, no frills. But they have discontinued it, and I worry about how long they will make the strips - so.... time to switch I think. I like the presto - good meter, seems clsoe enough to the maxima, BG number wise. and yes - I love their meet and greet: ever the wary one Mannie is, even since THE VOICE made the scene. :lol: :lol: It was cute on the sleeping DGS. I think Mannie didn't quite know what to make of someone else sleeping on the floor. :lol: :lol:

Hi Leslie - I so agree on the normalcy - for that I am grateful! And thanks on the pics. We are lucky that we have so many great places to visit,and all these trees that stay green all year - love that part! Yupp, me too n the cuddling together on the floor: they haven't quite reached that point,but I suspect that once Nicholas is past THE VOICE and THE SPEED RACER that it will come to be.
