Hi everyone. Was busy with shamus past few day along with being sick in bed with a cold. He became very vestibular so I was preoccupied tending to him. Unfortunately, today I had to put him to sleep.
My son was devastated.
The cancer seemed to have progressed and there was no way of correcting his neuro deficits. He battled til the end, wanting to get to the water and the litter box, of course with my help. Why does cancer always afflict the good cats??
Needless to say, Lucky threw me a screwball this morning amongst all the other chaos. I was half an hour late bc I was with shamus. I fed lucky at 44 and retested. Seeing he was going up and I had to leave with shamus, I refed lucky with 20% mix as I knew I wouldn’t be back home for another hour and shot him a fat 4.25- I know I was supposed to go to 4.5 but I was hesitant bc I was leaving and couldn’t check for a bit. Hopefully he will correct overnight now that he is a little high for the second half. We seem to have this consistent hiccup at the 4.5-4.75 amount. Don’t know what to make of it. Calipers to go in between?? Hope you all have a good rest of your evening.
