11/9 LOOSE LIPS: A day on the river, and at the pool...

Good Morning LL!! (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts too!

I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was so busy and so crazy, but we all had a great time. We ended up with a really nice sunny afternoon yesterday, sun and maybe 50 outside, after a very cloudy morning. We ended up at the Bothell River park, and spent some time on the Sammamish River. The river in Bothell was great. Its still low enough still that the little guy can get down and into it. kinda cool. William was mesmerized by it all. Looks like I may, for sure, have another river rat on my hands. We spent some time trying to feed the duckies, but they were more interested in something downstream. Nicholas didn't care, he kept trying anyways. :lol: The also have a really nice play area there for the kids, so we sent time there too. What boy does love slides and swings? William did too. It as also a Swimming night too. Swim went well last night for the little guy - fun, but wow was he ever tired after that. sheshhhh - me too for that matter. Sure as fun though. He really seems to enjoy those evening swims, the intensity level for them is off the chart. can one say SUPER ENERGIZER FISH? We also made Red Robin for a really fun lunch with the boys mom. All in all: a fantastic day!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!! It is oddly quiet here this morning.... too quiet.... the calm before the storm? More like the calm after the storm.... It seems this is the norm every Caturday... hmmmm... somehow I remember writing this last Caturday too. Lola... oh Lola...has been at it again. Just when I think she is mellowing she comes at me with all and everything. Back at it with the plants, again. AIYEE!!! :roll: :roll: Nicholas came to get me late yesterday afternoon, with this really pensive look on his face. "Grammie? Lola made another mess. You come and see, OK?" sure enough.... another upturned plant, scattered dirt, and Lola was MIA. :lol: as was Bug. :lol: :lol: and Elsa. :lol: :lol: :lol: Oh what fun. Never ever a dull moment here. The thundering heard was at it last night too. Even as tired as I was I still heard them: 2AM, and the masses were running the halls upstairs. Sleep? Who needs that? :lol: :lol: YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!

Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. And recovery time. I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys these past three days, but need some regroup time. :lol: :lol: So that shall be today. That and an afternoon walk, to the shore I hope!

And in response to all the posts yesterday.... sorry I never really got back on here, it was just a very long day... Out the door at 6AM, and not really back home for any "me" time until 9PM. :shock: :roll:

Amy THX on the boys, and that special bond that they have. I so suspect that they will be quite the team as time goes on. and Lola, is Lola... back at it with the plants, and those marathon runs! :lol:

Carla THX - I am so glad that the bond between the two boys comes through in the photos. I think so too on Nicholas and Mannie, and UI know... it was sad, but when we were done talking he was content with it all. Hard for 2 yr olds to really udnerstand. YES (!) on the weather - it actually turned out to be a nice day. We had sun in the afternoon. YaHOO! Right you were on Lola too.... :roll:

Ann The weather came through! We did ok while at the river, not too cold either,and NO RAINS! always a plus.... Hey - thx on the comments. We do try and amke sure that William is part of what goes down. it is so easy just to let him be on the floor etc, and not interact. The same holds for Nicholas: making sure he isn't forgotten when life with William takes precedent. Been tough, but he is allowed to help all he can with William, in fact my DD and DSIL encourage it. proven to be worth all the omg's when Nicholas helps... :lol: I will pass on your kudos to them - they will be appreciative.

Melissa The weather did clear - more than grateful for that. We can deal with rainy day activities, but the outdoor stuff is so much better. THX on the aquarium - it is a fav place of his. YES too on William - he really is. And he just loves it when nicholas plays with him. yesterday he grabbed Nicholas's finger, pulled it towards him. I thought Nicholas would come unglued: i a good way. he was so thrilled that William reached for him,. Right you were on Lola - just resting... when I got home she had been ":back at it". :roll:

Jane hey - thanks. lol on the no crying at work... ah heck, why not! :lol:

Anne, and Liz THX, I think he is too! One special little dude, and he so loved his Mannie. I thought so too, on his bringing the nanners to Mannie in his garden. Warmed my heart. I so know on Bob. I read that late last night. THX so much on the condo reading too!

Ella I think so too on Nicholas and Mannie - he has not forgotten. I can mention a word or thought that was Mannie and he remembers it all, right down to his nanner deliveries every morning. Just the bestest thing! Right you are on the William and Nicholas interactions. The smiles are so big when they are interacting. I have a feeling that they will be very close brothers. YES on the river! it was local and urban, but a rivertoo! It's a good sot for Nihcolas: he can still get down to rivers edge, and play in it. very fun! I need to read your condo from yesterday: what happened! Enjoy the wedding today! I hope Edward is feeling better.

I'm glad the weather allowed you and the boys to get out yesterday. I hope you got to relax some today. It's not surprising to hear Lola was in the plants again. :lol: She probably thinks they're her personal play areas.

Well, seems as if Miss Lola has her own personal play pot! But, she has the good sense to go MIA after the deed is done :lol: :lol:

Hi everyone. Thanks for the visits last nght. Sorry I missed you guys.

HI Carla - me too on the outing with the boys - I was so glad to see the NO RAINS aspect of the day. YAY! Yesterday was mellow. I did visit my DD DSIL and the boys. A relaxing time. oh ye son Lola - I think you are right on that one. ;-)

Hi Kim - oh it's ok: i do more heeeheeeheee than naughty kitty. She doesn't listen anyways. :lol: :lol: :lol: LOL, and THX on the energy .... I dunno! I just put in into auto pilot, don't stop until what is going on is done. that and lots of . . THX so much on the photos, and the boys.

Hi Jane - Yes, it was a good one. And true too on the evening swims - there weer alot there that night. By the time we left I lot more were coming in - a very busy night for the pool. I think so too on Lola - she seems to prefer a couple of them over the others. Maybe that's good, not all are lola-ized then. she is funny: wits until I'm not home to do her deeds, then plays miss innocent. :roll: Yupp: recharged yesterday, maybe today too!
