Morning L&L,

Fritz finally seeing a splash of blue. Not sure why the numbers started to climb.

Started him on Flovent in hopes of being able to wean him off oral pred.

Hope Fritz is headed back to stay in the blues for a while.
Maggie is an asthma cat too. Getting off that pred can make a big difference, so good luck with that. I tried recently and she was very close to remission, but her coughing increased. So she's taking 1/3 of a 5mg tablet in the evenings. We do Flovent too.
 
It is a struggle managing asthma and FD:arghh:
Fritz was managed with Flovent alone for years with an occasional flare up requiring oral pre. then over time the Flovent caused irritation in the throat and his nose, I had to switch to only oral pred. The Flovent isn't going well as his little nose has clear fluid and I know as soon as he inhales the puff it's like he is drowning in the clear liquid. I keep telling the vets that there is something else wrong none of them have listened or acted on my complaint.
That is nice that Maggie is on a low dose and the inhaler is managing the asthma;)
