Almost groundhog! She was 257 at +10.6, then ate a good amount of food, and tested 307 at +12 (AMPS). I am also wondering about reports that the Freedom Lite new test strips (which I am using) register lower BG numbers. Don't know that it is important--just have to make sure I don't switch back and forth (both kinds seem to be on the market right now).

judy i'm so sorry i never post on your threads. i seem to only have the concentration ablility of 1 maybe 2 cats at a time. but i just noticed where you live which is a stones throw from where i lived for 21 years! i'm from bayside you live in great neck. just wanted to pop in and say hi.
if you want i could start checking on your ss, who is helping you these days?
 
+6.66 276 Damn. This is discouraging. Worse than yesterday's big chicken. I can shoot tonight at + 10.5 or +12.5. Am thinking of doing the early shot. 1.2?
 
Actually, what is REALLY discouraging is that she has begun to be reluctant to take the pill, and also that she is lying around and sleeping a lot---so it seems like good things are not happening. (and she doesn't seem dopey or woozy, so I don't think it is the phenobarb)
 
you are so good to keep posting with the lack of responses. i am ashamed that no one is posting back. i will have to adopt you. it's late..i will look at your ss tomorow i promise and be responsive. i am so proud of you continueing to post, we all deserve a slap!
 
Duly slapped! :lol: I have been babbling over on the musings thread, and now I'm 100% braindead. I haven't followed the dosing closely for a few days, so no comment on that front, sorry not to be able to help more Judy.

Judy I keep forgetting to ask how the twins are doing. When you said the other day that your grandson was talking, it wasn't one of the twins was it? They are still tiny, right? Or has time flown that fast?
 
I just wanted to point out that I AM reading Judy's [at least]. At least as much as I can which is probably a lot more than it looks. I would look at the reads to her topics too and not just the posts ;-)

I do not always respond to Judy. Might just be a guy thing. I try to have her back - even when my chips are down. ;-) And partly trying to stay out of her making good decisions.

You can keep posting Judy, I am [just about always] reading even if I do not post right back.

EDIT: I'd also like to note that Robin pops in here with Judy here and there which is very much appreciated.

Joanna, the twins are 9 months old and thriving. My grandson is 4 and his little sister is 2 and she just broke her foot and is in a cast :sad:
