I'm hoping we have the post-low bounce worked out and a curve today will show me where we are. I am suspcious I will need to bump Sarge up to a fat 2.25 tonight but I will see how it goes. Just retireved him off the toad's tank so I think we are starting the day feisty. Feisty is good. Happy Saturday to all! Boy was it time for a Saturday

our principal sent out the weekly email yesterday and said "for those who are counting, 26 days til winter break!" I was definitely ready for Saturday and apparently I'm not the only one! :lol:

I'd get a +5 with Sarge to see if he's clearing the bounce yet. Once he's started clearing, then start your curve. Looks like he's taking about 1.5-2 days to clear bounces right now.

There's no point in wasting your strips today on a curve if he hasn't cleared the bounce. Fingers crossed he'll clear it soon enough for you to have some valuable information.

26 days til winter break, sounds like I'm not the only one counting! That time will really fly too. It's amazing. Thanks for the insight on Sarge's SS. I am never quite sure when the bounces are clear and I try to spare his ears when I can. He was 239 at +5.5 yesterday and that was far enough into the day I didn't curve. I have Tuesday off but he goes to the vet that day so that probably won't be good. I may just have to grab mid-cycles the next couple of days to get a read on where we are.
