Good Morning L&LL,
For once I'm getting an early start. After his fur shot yesterday morning, Rusty is working on getting back to a "normal" cycle. It will probably take a day or so. He had a good night and ate about half of his nighttime food. He woke us up this morning with a zoom--sliding on the rugs, playing with the cap from the toilet base, and meowing. Now, if he will just eat his food today and have a pretty good cycle, we will be happy. At the moment he is sitting in his perch over the radiator, watching the action outside.
We had a frost last night (20 degrees F. this morning). Tomorrow Edward and I were supposed to lead a paddle, but the forecast is for very cold and windy weather, so we cancelled it for safety's sake. I guess paddling season has come to a close. So now we prepare for late-fall hiking and for the winter activities to come: snowshoeing and x-country skiing. On Saturday I'm signed up to climb Blue Mountain with our group. It may be icy and we will take microspikes, just in case.
Wishing everyone a fine day.
