Sad to see the Libre go after so few days but the improvement in Ruby's behavior and mood tells me loads about the effect it has on her. I don't think I will be doing it again. Using the next Contour Next One meter and I really like it. Unlike the Alpha Trak strips, I can see the capillary action of the blood being soaked up by the strip so I can see the meter working on it. It's also got a thinner profile so it's easier to hold while I hold Ruby's ear with my other hand.

+3 = 76. Just fed her a tablespoon of 9%. Will test her again at +4. This is probably a reaction to the increase from this morning.
 
Nice surfing, Ruby :cat: BTW, I liked to use MC in the 50s or low 60s when Jax was getting regulated...kind of depended on what I needed to do that day :p - if you don't have any MC, you can mix a bit of LC and HC together (e.g., a teaspoon of each) and make your own. I generally saved the HC for <50. ECID of course :) Great job keeping track of what you're feeding! Hope you all have a wonderful day :bighug:

I had to leave the house after +4 so went the HC route when I saw 61. She’s never been so low before but she was happy and frisky. Left more of the MC food in her bowl that I hope she will gobble up!

Good thinking. You may want to add a note where you have you food notes to say you had to leave - maybe next time you can try MC and see how she does if you can be around. Hope you had a good day!
 
PMPS=392. If I was home all afternoon I would not have given her any HC. But perhaps this high number is a reaction to the lows from this afternoon?
