Yesterday was yellow and pink bounce recovery cycles. I think we can say that the bounce is cleared! And best of all, action during the day instead of middle of the night. :-D I put the drop back on her dose - not enough green was happening.

It's a beautiful sunny day today and there are two cats snoozing in the solarium. Neko has only had a deck patrol. I thought she'd want to go into the yard with the nice weather, maybe later. I'm probably going to be out raking and she may join me.

Last night both cats joined me on bed. Or rather, I joined them. I was last in bed again. :lol: DH is back over on the island winterizing the cabin (this time with the correct thermostat for the heater). It was nice to have the company in bed. Neko hopped on bed first and settled in, then Theo hopped up and wanted to get close to Neko. After I stomped over to break up the dispute (mostly noise), Theo took DH's spot and there was peace for the rest of the night.

Sounds like a good night was had by all, even you!
Good to take Neko back up a drop if she wasn't settling in to the new dose. You want to keep the momentum.

Correct thermostats are good things to have!!!

Nice blue surf going on. Neko just told me that there was a Anna's hummingbird at the feeder. This is the first year they've stayed here this late. It's supposed to go below freezing this weekend, so I'm going to have to do something to keep the feeder warmer. I've heard you can put socks over them.

@Ella - I do love snuggly nights with the cats. That's one thing colder weather is good for. :-D DH put a new heater in the cabin pump house. We used to just have a couple 100W incandescent light bulbs going all the time in there during the winter, but the provincial government in their wisdom banned them because of their energy use. There is only a small hardware store on the island, so it was back to Home Hardware here to get the thermostat.

Nice of Neko to give you some action during the day today instead of at night. I hope she surfs blue for you.

After that +7, I tested myself as 98. I was a little slow giving the FD chicken treat so Neko poked me. We were within meter variance of each other. :lol:

HI Wendy - once again, sorry for the late visit. It seems to be the only time I have these days. It has been another whirlwind day with Nicholas. Such fun we had. And Mannie behaved while we were gone! YAY! I do hope your day has been a good one.

Nice recovery today for Neko - I see some pretty blues there!

are you guys as cold as we are? well.... that 37 this AM sure felt COLD. :lol: :lol:

That's up over 300 points in a little over 2.5 hours. Yikes! Neko, that's gotta hurt.

@Michelle - some very pretty blues, followed by the express elevator UP! Sheesh, I didn't even see green in there. It was a great afternoon for getting out with Nicholas. Doing the conversion, it was about 50F here in the afternoon. I didn't get out until the sun was shining so didn't notice the cold this morning. We are supposed to hit below freezing on Saturday night.

i can so relate to the elevator UP. Mannie does that far too often.... yupp: great day out. I don't think we cleared 50, but not sure. I do know that we too are to hit freezing in a few, oh goodie....
